Why don't you flat earth kids ever try the obvious. Get a high powered laser, one of those green astronomical ones. Get a laser reflector, the ones used for fire detection systems. Get a surveyors tripod and mount the laser and set it to say 11 inches. Now go mount that reflector plate to the top of any grain bin in Illinois or Iowa. Drive a mile away check your elevation, and confirm a reflection. Now keep doing that, mile after mile after mile. By your logic you should always be able to get a reflection despite your elevation. Go...try it.  ALREADY done that ! (or similar) Why don't you listen that military rocket specialist video ^^ He said US navy radars can see sea targets over 300miles away! (and that's a straight line.. or almost) Targets, not necessarily ships. They can see aircraft but they'l lose low altitude coverage.
