Prayers said for a Blessed Thanksgiving to all who have come to this thread.

And for you my friend.

Ok it has been a hot minute since I have been online and on this site. I figure I would give you all some information.

My Health.

I am done with my treatments. I go Monday to have them look at me and see if the mass has been reduced. This will determine if I have surgery to remove or if I have to go in for more treatments. Praying that this all goes well and I can have the mass finally removed completely.


Other than that I have been good. Had a bout of the flu and that was crap, but other than that I am good.


Daughter.

She is in counseling still. IOP through the day and home at night. She is better, but we are still working out issues with the divorce. Also the whole TG stuff is a bit of a struggle. Praying for guidance on that.

Divorce.

Wife has failed to do a lot of what was required by the court. I have been doing everything a co-parent should and more. I have picked the kids up when she could not. I have feed the kids when she was late for pick up. I have taken them to their appts when needed, because she can not. I have made sure their grades/homework is done and turned in(she does not seem to do this and when they are with her they dont turn in their work)

She really wants to work things out. I am hesitant about this still. I do want to reconcile, but I think it all has to do with the fact that she is at her end right now. She has until Sunday to get a place of her own in the school district and she has not. If she does not then she goes to Standard Visitation Orders, which means she only gets them every other weekend from Friday at 6 to sunday at 6pm.

The scary thing is that I have had to help her out financially. Paying her car payment, getting food for her and the kids, because she can not afford to, but earns the same as me. I just dont get it anymore. I guess this is a trial that God is putting on me right now.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. I will be here alone today as wife has the kids this week.

EDIT: So that people dont think I am looking for sympathy of being alone today. It is not all bad. I am having steak for dinner. Something I have not had in a long time due to treatments. My protein intake consists of mostly fish, so this is a splurge for me. I also made an apple pie for myself as a treat.

God is turning this whole situation around for you. Keeping you all in my prayers. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving.
Regarding spending Thansgiving alone, Thanksgiving is all about what you make it and it sounds like you have made a good and thankful celebration.

This morning, as too last night, I pray and deeply for people not to be deceived, whereby there are so many.

May God grant them the strength to open their own eyes and to hear with their own ears.




This is what the Lord says:

Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.
