Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

Roy had a major seizure at 12:30am this morning. I was able to handle this one OK by myself. I rolled him on his side and held him until he stopped seizing. When the seizure was finally over, Princess came over to him, and laid her head on Roy's chest, and looked up at me.She understands.
Roy is OK this morning, and very lucid. I would say, right now and so far, he is about 80-90% there.

So my brother with stage 4 lymphoma is showing decreased tumor size and improvement in cell counts. HalleluYah!


Need prayers for a young lady with an infant. I'm a little freaked out really. She called me to ask my opinion of a just short of 3 month old baby being listless, pale, clammy and with a 96.5 body temp. I said go to the hospital. Turns out, she's not making enough milk and was literally starving her baby. I saw pics and the poor infant looks like the starving infants from Africa.

The mother is living in a house with several drink all day drunks and no one figured out this baby was hungry.

I'm asking for prayer for the baby to heal. Baby is in ICU and her sugar won't stabilize.

Sorry...I feel literally sick over this. Quite.

The mother is "how could I not have seen this?" And all I have is "I have absolutely no idea how a woman could not know that her baby's hungry." None. I'm stunned and amazed at the level of disconnection from reality shown by this.

But they both need prayer...So thank you for lifting them up.

I find it very difficult to deal with my emotional reactions to this. It's just...I can see criminal neglect in this.

Tiger...just hugs and prayers. Very difficult time.

I'm still working, and getting 40 hours. Otherwise I stay home other than getting groceries or gas. I'm exhausted. Mentally more than physically.

I'm very thankful for this group. This thread is the first thing I read on the internet every morning, and the last thing at night.

Roy tried escaping in the middle of the night. He broke the lock and door nob on the front door. I went to Menard's and got the replacement which I will put on later. Not a real good start to the day.

My youngest daughters workplace, a Fortune 500 company, laid off her whole department yesterday. The only ones that didn't get laid off, was my daughter and the 2 bosses.I am so thankful that she hasn't lost her job ! PRAISE GOD !!!
