They say it is herpes simplex type of encephalitis. 20% fatality rate, probably a lot higher for Roy, because of the cancer and emphysema. They will do a lumbar puncture on monday. Roy is in total confusion and acting up. They are sedating him. If he makes it through this, he could have permanent brain damage. |
