Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

Lifting you both up in prayer for the salvation of each of your husbands. Also, keeping you both in prayers because one of the hardest things we can go through is watching someone we love not have salvation in Jesus.

I have been finding that people have bad attitudes right now. Even strangers in the grocery stores are just rude. I feel that not only is there a spirit of divisiveness, but people are becoming less compassionate towards one another. I really think this is a spiritual attack and we need to pray that it will not affect us.

Roy Update !

Good and bad. The good thing is that he is improving. They are giving Roy steroids to reduce the swelling in his brain, and he might be able to come home soon. He is behaving himself, once again.
A Priest has been coming every day to the hospital to talk with Roy. I hope that Roy has finally woken spiritually.

The bad. The cancer has spread to Roy's brain, causing the seizures, the swelling and the encephalitis.He does not have a virus, it is the cancer spread.

I am so sorry Tiger1. At least you now know the root causes of his issues. Now is the time to pray. I I hate that this is happening, I Believe God has the final, not doctors. If you do not mind I would like to put ask my Church family to pray for Roy, you and your daughters. I have become a true believer in prayer and that of group prayer. Just let me know darling.

It is very important that we trust in God to show us these things and heal us from on going issues and hurts from our past and our present. We all must have faith in what HE is doing even if the devil is trying to beat you and/or your family into the ground. We will always have victory in Jesus.

Reading about your issues with Roy and his issues makes mine seem small in comparison. My prayers are with you and Roy right now.

I and my family always need prayer as this is the way to sustain us in a most challenging world. Prayer is our only way to communicate or speak with our Father and through His only Son Jesus, His Spirit who lives within us.

As far as our needs, we are Blessed and know that we are covered with Favor. We have little yet we are rich indeed! Our two autistic children are healing and growing ever stronger through the Lord's Word and spiritual guidance.

Sure we would be grateful for more flexibility in this world but mostly sought is great strength and relationship through His name, Jesus. We have love abundantly. We have deep Faith. We have a watchful eye and seek Him evermore completely, daily.

Thank you for allowing me to express my undeniable love for my Father & SAVIOR! Without you dear Lord, we would all be hopelessly for lost. All Glory to your Holy name Jesus!

UPDATE !!! PRAISE GOD !!!

Roy is getting discharged from the hospital late this afternoon!!! His restraints are off, he is behaving himself, and they are giving him physical therapy.

A Little Rant.

I just got a call from a different social worker at the hospital. ALL of the other people I have talked to were really respectful and helpful, including the other social worker. This one was unbelievably rude, disrespectful, nasty, and just about everything bad you can think of.

She was pushing "counseling" in the home. I nixed that. Roy doesn't want anyone here, and I have my Faith, my Family, and my Friends. The last thing I need is an invasion of privacy from a freggin government paid shill/spy. She then asked if it was OK for this woman to call me, and I said no. I told this witch that I have my family support.

Then, while being snippy and terribly rude to me during this whole conversation, she got worse.I flat out told her that we intend to keep Roy here at home, and will only have medical intervention when absolutely needed, like if he gets violent again.If he has another episode, if he can be stabilized and brought back home, we want that.I told her we intend to keep him here until the end, if at all possible, as long as we can keep his violence under control.Putting him in a facility would be a last resort, if nothing else works.

This witch went ballistic on me. She said maybe you should have him in hospice. I told her no ! She very snippily said to me, "well, good luck finding a facility to take him, as he is violent here at the hospital". I told her "Really? His restraints have been removed, he is cooperating and behaving himself. He has improved".

She hung up on me !!!
