Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

When I heard the Books of Thessalonians yesterday and in 1 Thessalonians 3verse 4 that says , 4For, in fact, we told you before when we were with you that we would suffer tribulation, just as it happened, and you know, I paused .
From floods, earthquakes , Vegas and now fires out west, this chapter helps remind us suffering tribulation on this planet has happened since after we got kicked out of the Garden.
Jesus and Paul teaches for us to endure , but sometimes it seems we can no longer handle all that is coming at us.

satan is working hard in this story to keep these guys apart durning this time, he does the same now. There is a reason for that, satan knows the strength in a whole body. I met an amazing lady yesterday and her story humbled me. She was my Timothy in this lost world. God had led us on a similar journey but the greatest was how He had brought the both of us through many fires. To be able to face and grow in the tribulations of this life with Him is what we shared in common...

We can look at California right now and all the piles of ashes and lose hope, or we can see how all the churches are having to become shelters and see what God is saying in those ashes . The exact same thing happened in Harvey and Irma, churches became shelters, pretty clear .
It was after Harvey the Lord placed on my heart we all needed to fall on our face and give Him a day. We are divided as satan wants, for all believers to fall on their face and give the Lord a whole day is what he works over time to keep us from... satan wants us to concentrate on the loss and not what was gained...

I ask someone this week wouldn't be exciting if we where the generation to be alive when Jesus returned . The pause made me sad as well as the question ask of what about all those left behind.

I hear many people that believe saying, oh this or that has to happen before He returns , NO , just NO , many will meet Him today or not, so just assume it is today and get things right...

Those fires that came with no warning, is what Jesus said over and over His return will be like . If any of us have in our minds this or that has to happen for Him to return , then I guess Luke 12:40 and all the other warnings have been lost and no meaning.

We are a confused and divided generation right now, very divided , until Harvey , Irma , Vegas and now fires brings us together in a shelter . Evacuations have been non stop since August , shelters have been non stop since August. There is coming an evacuation that is the last One... His Church shelter is what we long for...

I'm noticing a major revival on GLP in nearly every thread. People giving advice of "*Cry out to Jesus" etc etc. This is amazing!

Thread: Special Prayer Thread For California and Everything Since August

Prayers said for all.

Numbers 18 , we all know this chapter , as we do not go to church without being reminded to give back to the Lord and what He has given us. I have been in all kinds of sittings from not passing the plate to shaming the congregation into giving . Jesus tells us no matter what we give let it be from the heart. I have observed if the church is spending as God's will , then He will provide from those hearts all that is needed.

Numbers 19, is about laws of purification and Jesus tells us if are hearts are clean and then all the rest follows but it is all about the heart. It does no good to be clean on the outside if not clean on the inside.

Numbers 20, this chapter is a hard lesson and a great reminder of many things. First , we pray to a God that can make water come from anywhere He wants. Second , we are never to use the words I or me, everything is about Him...Moses and Aaron faced amazing things , that most of us could not. Third, the greatest message in this chapter is why we need Jesus. While those men endured much and loved God , they are like us and fail daily.

10 And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?”
Tiny words we, me and I. God had to give us Jesus that was perfect to be able to get on our knees and pray to God the Father that killed Aaron for this statement at the water. We forget Who we serve and why we need Jesus and the Holy Spirit, we forget Who God really is...

29Now when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, all the house of Israel mourned for Aaron thirty days.
I cried at this ending , but it humbled me to remember Who I pray to , the same God that did this gave us Jesus on the Cross. I cried because we have forgot all this and have become verse 10, we have made this life about us and it never was or will be.

See, yeah... I opened up my Bible and try and read the Chapters you list.... And sometimes I feel as if it is just Greek in a bad sci-fi film. The priest takes scarlet and herbs and sprinkles it on the heifer as it burns alive as an offering in the Tabernacle for the "Unclean" .. If a man wakes up in a tent to a dead body he is unclean for 14 days... And must bathe on Days 3,7,14... But a dead body in a field, slain by sword, is only 7 days and must bathe on Days 3, 7...

That stuff is so above my head it's easier when you break down what the underlining message is and it's relation to the New Testament....

He is my world! The Fourth. Suffix is IV. Wanted to call him IV (Sounds like Ivy) as a pet name... Wife wouldn't have it. Since he's the Fourth also... Close friends and family call me JC so we don't confuse all the Jack's.... So when my wife suggested that she'll name him.after me and keep the name going (1917 - Current) that his Nick name will.be Jackson.

I love Jackson! It's powerful yet not crazy names like a lot of parents are naming their kids lately... It's classy and acceptable.

If we have a girl... We're stuck between Kennedy or Grace.

He is a BEAUTIFUL baby !!!
