CPS came to our house...

Friday I got my blood work back, and for 33, my cholesterol (bad) is off the charts. My wife said You're not dying on me or your son like your Dad did so young, and I'm a coach my entire life, I'm going to teach you tennis.

Went to a thrift store. Got rackets and balls.

We played. Had a blast. Then, my wife tripped doing suicides (exercise ) and sprained her arm.

Went to walk in clinic. They said it appears to be a hairline fracture. Go to ER. Went thet Hospital. They said 4 hour wait. Wife decided whiskey would dull pain until patched up.

At Hospital, 2nd time, she ran in.... I waited a few minutes and came in and raised a little Cain and tahdah, she was fast tracked.

Well, the nurses made a CPS report. Saying we neglected the child to be left alone in the car for the close to 2 hours we were there... And they were concerned it was domestic violence. All false. Baby was left alone in the car under the ER facade overhang parked next to a Cop and EMS while I was inside for literally two minutes.

It's evil. Attacking us. Once again.

CPS came to door yesterday morning... I'm shirtless and my wife is wearing a Batman uniform LOL and my son is laughing his butt off.

I wouldn't let CPS inside the house but we answered briefly and then I said anymore questions I'd like a lawyer present.

They asked for phone numbers of friends so they could call... Wife was a bit too helpful kept asking me why she can't come inside, giving her every phone number known to man...

Had to explain to her they are not our friends. Less is more.

Major prayers needed.

I use to cry and get very upset when something I cared about got destroyed . My dad would tear up or destroy things he thought I should not have . I see now those days left scares , but not today.
Today something I enjoyed that came from Montana got destroyed and while it made me sad for a second , I went and found a worship song I like and peace came, I went in the temple.

I think of Anna in Luke often , Luke 2 which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.
I sometimes long to be Anna and internet Anna as well ...The more time we spend in the presence of God the harder it is to go outside that temple.
We are on this threshing floor called earth to prepare to spend eternity worshiping the Lord of Lords , King of Kings , or not . To prepare to never leave the Temple is our goal in this life. I am pretty sure we have lost sight of that, this world has to much to offer. That thing that got broke should have never been a source of peace for me .
To be prepared to live in eternity worshiping God in this place is not easy, is it?

She is only spoken of in Luke and told of the coming of Jesus . We are all to be Anna as He is coming again...If there is something in our lives that brings peace , comfort or happiness other than God , it is temporary and can end up pieces on the floor...He offers everlasting peace and comfort. The more time we spend in the presence of God , the easier to live in this broken world... To not cry today or really even get upset only happened because God healed an old wound , that is what He does...

I was thinking about Anna today as I was reflecting on Christ's early life. It would seem a luxury today to forsake all earthly things and focus solely on prayer and fasting. Still, it can be done as you say, with knowing that what is here on earth is only temporary and dwelling in the House of God is not impossible as God dwells within all of us. This is the second time I was reading something in church and came here to read the thread and you had already spoken about it. You are also right, we all need to be like Anna and remain alert, dwelling in God, and wait. God bless you, GFG.

I always looked at Anna & the other guy at the temple (Simeon) as "chosen" folks...special in God's eyes to see & know "The Child" for a brief moment in time before they passed on.



God willing...all of us will be allowed to meet Jesus AND the Father one day!

How would the nurses even know your son was out in the car?

Do a search for "CPS" + "horror stories" and have your wife read about some of them.

If they come back, have your wife state that she could pass a polygraph to prove she isn't being abused.

Write out a written statement about what happened, get it notarized, then give them a copy. Keep yours in a SAFE place. Those people like to twist words when doing reports.
