Deuteronomy 32 called the Song of Moses, it is not like the songs of this age. I played it on my CD to get a better feel of the rhythm of what Moses had to say. It is the final days of Moses with the people about to cross over to the land promised. Verse 4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.

1 Corinthians 10:4 and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.

How funny they both are verse 4. Moses is reminding them of the past and the future and what God does with His people if they forget Who they belong to.

We know from the news around the world we are becoming what God warned us not to as in ,
Verse 32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom And of the fields of Gomorrah;

They forgot and we forget verse 29 Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this,
That they would consider their latter end!

The end is coming on earth for Moses and we have a end as well and what vine and field we lived in determines our end …

The last part of this chapter God tell Moses to go mountain of the Abarim, Mount Nebo , to die because God says in verse 51because you trespassed against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you did not hallow Me in the midst of the children of Israel.
The Holy Words of God if we have them in our hearts can help us not be Moses. As we know many are sick right now with RSV and colds. I told my mom Allen and I are rarely sick because I use Lysol wipes on everything. Then a prick hit my heart and a small voice said really ,the Lysol wipes, not your prayer to The Rock of Your Salvation , that keeps you well, I was humbled and corrected that statement.

God Words are the same now as they where then. We should know the Song of Moses like we know our favorite tune. Know what God loves and what He hates that is what the song is about , everything is about God and what He loves in His people, we are His people...Do not be in the vines of Sodom or of the fields of Gomorrah. The end is what we are living for.

I pray all of us brothers and sisters in Christ find strength in friends whom are also followers the Lord and draw from each other prayer, intercession, strength, hope, and encourage non believers. Amen.

I need prayers of discernment. I am going to try out a new church home on Sunday. I talked to the pastor at length on the phone earlier today. He seems to be very easy to talk to, and I yack with everyone so, so far so good.
I will let you all know how it goes for me. :)
