Prayers being sent to all those in need, all over the board it seems. And If I may diverge a moment. I would ask for prayers for the POTUS. We are entering a difficult 'occult' window right now. 100th anniversary (I'm a Legion member) of the end of WW1, November 11th, and we have November 22nd for the sad passing of JFK.

I pray for everyone on this thread. I go through a litany of people I know. But praying for the POTUS popped into my head so I thought I would bring this here. ANyhow...Goofy can scrub this if need be but I found it important. God Bless You All, you bring solace even if you do not know it. Most importantly, you ask for God's solace for others.

A sister in Christ drove 20 mi to get me and take me to get my key. Then 20 mi back to car. Only God knows who read in that busy place but I smile at the chain of events. The person that helped me had just been given a gift and full tank of gas, she said she felt she was tested because she did not really want to come. She is elderly and I have helped her for 5 years with different things. God is great...

We are to always pray for our leaders they are attacked by satan more then we are because they have power. Thanks for request.

Dear Heavenly Father , we lift up all leaders right now that have power to make right and wrong decisions , help them do and fulfill Your will, we sometimes do not know how to pray about certain matters so we call on what Jesus said , Your will be done and the enemy have no power in Jesus name amen

Acts 19: 1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.



It happened then and now of missing part of the message , part of the gift. Scriptures gives us the steps of becoming a follower, The Whole Bible is our guide to life. From Genesis to Malachi , shows us why we needed Jesus , Who God is and what He loves and hates.
From Matthew to Revelation shows gives us instructions how to follow Jesus ,to reach God the Father.
The Holy Spirit or Ghost as used in Acts ,is our guide. Without having and using all the gifts that Jesus left for us , we are still wondering in the wilderness under Moses.

“John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

If we are still living life as they did with Moses or John the Baptist then the Cross is not understood.

“1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”
God did not keep giving us a Moses to guide us in this wilderness, He gave us His Spirit .
“2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”
“Hebrews 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?”
“1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.”
Man's wisdom and how he teaches without the Holy Ghost, is not why Jesus went to the Cross for us. Look today and see where your wisdom and comfort are coming from...I have learned the more I trust the Holy Spirit t,he more I am given . The more I allow the Holy Spirit to comfort me, the more I am comforted. Do a Holy Spirit check up today and see where you might be going outside of that precious gift...

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

1 Peter 5:8-9

Yes and that thread should not have been posted here. I only posted it because it was a request for prayer and he was not initially asking for money, but prayer for the funds to help his dog. Then GLPers, in their usual fashion wanted to help. That is where the thread got a little crazy and eventually deleted.

This morning I pray for the GLPers who "change the world" for others and for those who post prayer requests here in hope.

I am still a little shook up and humbled, because our prayers for another were answered. May your prayers for others be answered too.

When all this is settled down some here, I will pay more attention to glp prayer threads.

I thank God daily, but I do not thank you all enough for this Communion. Today was the final day of a 3 week move. Without this thread and another one. It would have been way harder to do. Praise God, Praise Jesus and all of you are blessed. angels for the most part.
