I am so happy for my running mate, it doesn't bother me a bit that I didn't win ! We did something thought to be impossible, unseated entrenched politicians.

God saw the evil, and lightened the burden for us. I have been praying so hard, and God removed 2 out of the 3 incumbents, INCLUDING the one who organized that threatening mob that harassed me at the Candidates Forum a couple of weeks ago.

Pray for my running mate, Manny, who now has a great responsibility ahead of him, and a terrible mess to try to help clean up. It is not going to be easy for him, as there still are enough incumbent board members to override him and the other winner from accomplishing what must be done.

I got a lot of housework to catch up on. :(

Give yourself a couple days - goodness! You need rest and to catch up with yourself after all the days of go go go!

I know, but...my house is a disaster zone!!!

Had a rough bunch of days. Many deep thoughts, realigning my life. I don't need anything. But I do feel you all as I pray. A prayer for more Communion would be nice if you could. A Matthew 18:20 style prayer. That would be awesome.

Dear Heavenly Father , we ask for peace today and to feel Your love in the middle of Your war in Jesus name we pray amen.

It's been a rough day for many of us, apparently!

Thank you for this prayer, dear prayer lady - I'm agreeing with you, praying for all of us.

John 17:6-26


Jesus prayed to God His Father a lot. I love to go to those places when I do not know how to pray or deal with hatred and evil. Read John 17:6-26 , a common theme with prayers in Scriptures is examining what we did God called us to do ,as Jesus did.
The world can remind us daily of all we do wrong. I have been in that place of late and the Holy Spirit reminded me of this passage.
“John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. “

Here Jesus ,the perfect Son of God is praying to His Father about what He had done . Jesus leaves us examples of how to pray and this passage if full of wisdom.

“John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”
We have not been One in a very long time. The fact is we should be able to read the Word and all agree like the eleven.

“John 26:13And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”

The world outside of the ones that have the word , as the eleven had the word , is hateful and evil, it always was. When the world reminds you of all you have done wrong call on this chapter. Go to God the Father in prayer and examine what God ask you to do and you did it. Jesus did not listen to what the world did or said. I pray every follower right now has at least one person in their life that is one in Christ , one in the Word , a branch from the eleven.
“John: 17: 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
God is the only One that can sanctify.

There is only one truth. We should have been able to all gather as those eleven with the Word of God and be One in Christ. Jesus knew what would happen once He went to the Cross. “Luke 23:31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?”

Long ago there where eleven men that was taught by Jesus and how He prayed for them is how we should have prayed everyday for each other.
John 17 is a place to call on when the world hates you and yes we should be hated ,if we are not then we are of the world. Odd thing to say in our culture but Jesus and the eleven is our example of how to pray , what should be going on in our lives and survive this world we where not made for.
We have the same Word they had , have it written on hearts was a command for a reason, in a world of hate and evil.

Dear Heavenly Father , we call on John 17 , help us know hate and bad days is part of following You and keep us from evil and we stay in Your truth to do what You have called us to do today in Jesus name amen

I've been on this forum for years and years and I've talked with most of you before. Some good, some bad I'm sure. I need your prayers more than ever.

I found out about 100 days ago that I had esophageal cancer. I've already been through all of the chemo and radiation therapy and recovered from that and I'm getting ready for an operation called an esophagectomy.

They cut out the cancer parts and raise the stomach and tie it all back together. My surgery date is closing in and I'm naturally scared since i have a teenager who i want to see live her life and a lovely wife.

I'm in good health and I'm strong, and supposedly I have one of the best Surgeons in the entire world who lives in my city.

Please pray for me to be strong and not be afraid. I love all of you. And God Bless every one of you.

Let me just say that having most of my experience in the GI field that these surgeries are usually very successful. It sounds like you are in good hands.

Prayers going up for the peace that passes all understanding to come over you, for a successful surgery and that the cancer is all gone in Jesus name.

Hi all I hope things have been well. I have been away recently because I came under spiritual attack by a demonic force in my home. I wont give the details as they are not for the faint of heart. Those who know me wish to know more PM me. I have cleansed my house and property with The Word of God and armor up daily. I don't ghost hunt or anything like that but I do preach to those surrounded by evil and research the occult to know my enemy.

I ask for your prayers.
