Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

The amount of love in this thread is glorious. Morning prayers.

Yesterday morning i took some fresh pineapple and mini oranges and things to someone dealing with something similar to what Pool described.
Last night I had a massive headache. i all better this morning.

Romans 10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

In Scriptures we see a pattern repeated over and over with people every generation. That pattern is thinking we know and not being able to learn. There are some hard to reach places that Missionaries go to share the Word. We know reading Romans sometimes the hardest place to reach can be in our own backyards.

God set up a people in the beginning to be under Moses. Moses spoke of Jesus and Jesus spoke of Moses speaking of Him . Why did they miss the message of Jesus Moses spoke of?
“John 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. “
We see we can love God , pray , read the Bible , go to Church and do all they did in Romans 10 but not have the knowledge of God. We take much pride in our education and that piece of paper that comes with it. Pride is the number one thing to never have in our vocabulary ,much less our lives.

Jesus is very clear “Matthew 18: 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

Jesus spent over 3 years teaching His 12. They became scattered when Jesus was arrested and Peter that loved Jesus denied knowing Him. It was not till the Holy Spirit came that Peter was willing to suffer and die for his call and really got it.
The chosen in the wilderness saw all they saw and heard all they heard , yet did not get it. Peter continued to learn after Jesus was in Heaven, Acts 10.

Please read the Bible as if you have never read it before, be a child and let the Holy Spirit be the teacher.
Jesus said “Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. “
“Romans 10 :Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. “
There was many that thought they where saved in Romans 10 and where not. There are many more that think they are saved today and are very lost sheep.
“Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. “

Why daily ? It has been said I have my ticket , when Jesus says , “Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. “ Read Matthew 7 , look at that list of wondrous works that will be rejected. “
Are we going daily to the Word of God like a child? Romans 10 shows we never want to do anything different.
It was hard for the people in the wilderness and it was hard for the people in the book of Romans. To think it is not hard for us, is to not understand Luke 9:23 and the word “daily.” We have to die to self and the world daily . To think anything different is to think we are prefect like Jesus and that is a scary place to go...
“ John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
We could spend our life time and never step into a man made class room or receive a man made diploma and have all the knowledge we need. There are many ,like those in Romans 10 that need to let all they learned die and become a child.

If you ever get massive headaches again, I find success in icing them. I get an occasional migraine and found out that most times I can get rid of them with ice.

I put a bag of ice on the pain until the pain from the ice is more than the headache...It takes about 10 - 15 mins.

So many of you need healing prayers too. Metaphorically tucking you up in bed and bringing you a warm drink, and soothing your forehead until you fall asleep!

Fought many spiritual battles recently. Long story short, is I am exhausted.
I see many turning away then there are some renewing and strengthening their commitment.

Why do I "feel" the battle lines are being drawn?

Will the earth burn in chaos? Or will it be postponed due to repentance (no longer turning away but turning to The Lord)?

Pray for your family, friends, your enemies and pray for me.

Also massage the scalp and where ever it is sore apply pressure and they say taking a shower with Eucalyptus helps

Millie Update !

She is home from the hospital. She is weak, and everyone is checking in on her. She has to go see her cardiologist next week. She definitely has A-Fib, but they do not think that it is the cause of her shortness of breath.They ran a lot of tests at the hospital, and everything came back OK except for the A-Fib. She wants to go back to the food pantry on Monday, but I do not think she is strong enough.

Wonderful news! God is so good. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the improvement in Millie's health and that she is home again. Please give her wisdom about going back to her volunteer work on Monday. Cause her to stay home if that's best.

Praise the Lord.

I have a happy update on my dog Holly with the adenovirus (hepatitis and respiratory). I got her blood test results back today, and her ALT liver enzyme has decreased from 550 to 266! This is after years of gradual increase, she's finally going in the right direction. And her platelet count is normal, so no more danger of bleeding out! Her lymphocytes are still quite low, so he recommended IP6 Gold for that. And she still coughs sometimes.

But she looks really good, happy and alert. At the vet, she jumped on a cabinet twice and almost broke a lamp, and barked at a dog, and tried to rip open my backpack, so she is feeling good. Her heartbeat is strong and regular now. She's running and playing and chasing birds and squirrels.

My cousin visited over Thanksgiving and was amazed at how active she is and that she has no grey on her muzzle, she will be 14 in February.

She seemed like she was doing better, but it's good to have the blood test confirm it. Her doctor is really happy.

But we do still grieve.

Sometimes no news is indeed bad news. Henry is still exhibiting some classic brain tumor symptoms in a big way. He's sleeping nearly constantly, and his digestive system appears to have no interest in food or water. IV drips are keeping up with pain, neurological discomfort, and nausea for the most part, but Henry seems to be nearing the end. The last MRI looked pretty good, so this has come as a little bit of a surprise.

"...that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope." We have hope, but we have also already begun to grieve. This has been a long time coming, and there have been these layers of grief: the original diagnosis, the recurrence of the tumors, and discontinuing treatment. I imagine to lose a child suddenly is to have grief rush in all at once. For us, grief has been metered out over the last year and a half. All the while, we have the hope and anticipation that Henry's body will soon be redeemed.

So please pray that these last days or weeks have plenty of peace for us and lots of mercy for Henry. He's comfortable, and we want him to stay that way to the end, so pray for continued comfort for him.

I jave no right to ask but this my 2 year old nephew. He needs prayer. He has fought a courageous battle with a brain tumor. I believe God can,do miracles. If God brings him Home the family will need prayer. Thank,you.

You have EVERY right to ask for prayer! Yes, we will pray for your precious little nephew. Such a sad story - God bless the little guy, his parents, his whole family. Lord, if it's Your Will, please bring miraculous healing for this child. If it is not, please make his passing comfortable and without trauma. Maybe he could wake long enough to tell his parents goodbye? Lord, we trust You and want Your will more than we want our own wants. Please help American Cowgirl through this as well, and bring all of them to see You in a new light, giving them a new understanding of our dear Lord Jesus. In His Name we pray, Amen.

I pray over all animals even ones I drive by that are loose. My dog got bit by a snake in the neck and Vet and nurses prayed as they care for him. He survived , so happy for you.
Dear Heavenly Father , we thank You for this answered prayer we ask for continued healing and we give You the glory in Jesus name amen
