Next month after mothers day he has to be gone for 45 to 90 days doing something that no one in the family has ever done and we are all a little freaked out. He's the baby of the family, so he's the most looked after, checked on & called/visited by his older siblings and me and his dad. With this absence, I don't want him to fail without that extra encouragement that he always seemed to have 24/7 from all of us. Not that I think he will fail...darn it, maybe I'm the one that needs the prayers for the strength. Thank you so much! |

Quoting: Fluffy Pancakes SP, I meant to put DMJ there for his wife. Sorry about the confusion. So today is visitation for my Dad and tomorrow is the funeral. I still haven't done my breakdown release. I just don't want to do it at these events. It's all a bit confusing because I am so thankful he is not in pain any longer, and yet I have grief that is needing to be released. I guess there's a process that is not directed by my own will in this. I trust Yah with it...and with me, entirely. Shalom to you all. Perhaps instead of worrying and holding back the anticipated “breakdown release” because the process is inconvenient to you to allow to flow naturally simply allowing God to lead you through these difficult times as we can not do this alone. All of the nurses had to meet me because they never had anyone do it with a local before, lol. I got to watch my surgery on the tv screen. They later gave me a pain pump, which I pulled out. I just used ice for pain and they told me they never had someone heal that fast. I really think you heal faster without that stuff if you can do it. I had OxyContin just in case but I kept telling myself the pain was temporary and will pass soon. I'm a terrible patient, I argue about everything. I told the hospital my mom had already gotten the flu shot so they wouldn't give her one. I was asked by 7 different people if she had it, they really push it. The woman hasn't even had a cold in 10 years and that shot would probably have killed her. I was lucky they did not ask for proof. I'm sorry I have derailed this beautiful thread. It took her about a half day to speak load enough for me to hear her, well enough for me to understand. Today I can hear her load and clear. She is so weak that she talks really low and she can't stand up by herself yet. But it's coming, they have her in rehab now, so things should move a little faster, they whipped her out today, lol.
