An old man stood on his porch and watched flood waters surround his house. A neighbor came in his pickup to rescue him. But the old man waved away the rescuer and said, "Don't worry about me. God will take care of me."

Then a large tree washed down the river, smashed the house, and the old man drowned.

When the old man arrived in heaven, he told God, "I don't understand. Why didn't you take care of me?"

God replied, "I sent a pickup, a boat and a helicopter. What more could you ask?"

White Wolf, it almost sounds like your mom has Tourette's? I don't know if there are meds that can bring that on or not. Will certainly keep her in prayer.

Please pray for my friend Lyle, that he get good sleep whenever he needs it. He’s an OTR trucker, and they don’t give him regular hours for sleep, so when he does need to fall asleep he can’t. Also has diabetes. But main thing is sleep. He’s working on getting day job but not there. He needs to sleep like a baby or it will harm his health! Plus its dangerous. He’s killing himself, or they are killing him..Thank you

Urgent Prayer Request !!!

My brother Kenny was rushed to the ER late last night.:( He has an obstruction in his colon.He is in a lot of pain. They have a tube down him right now, and will try to unblock it without surgery, but I do anticipate he will have surgery. The blockage is scar tissue from the previous cancer surgeries. I am going up to the hospital in a couple hours.

I am so distraught. My youngest and middle daughters are on a flight to New Jersey right now, so I left a message on the youngest daughters phone. She will be able to check the message when the plane lands. I have no cell phone right now, as I accidentally washed mine yesterday morning.Thank God we have the old landline phone yet.I didn't check the pockets of my sweatshirt before I threw it in the washer. :( It has been drying since, but I think it is a goner. I picked up a replacement phone at Walmart, but have not activated it yet.

PLEASE pray for my brother Kenny !!!

Thank you my friend! Tourette's is something I am still trying to rule out. But it's more like a personality shift than tics. She is normally with it but when she is like this it's more automatic, like a tantrum she is not aware of and does not remember. I notice facial swelling when it happens and two triggers I know are rain coming and chocolate. She has a history of severe ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder, childhood malnutrition, rickets and a head injury from a fall that knocked her out cold. I got her much better on the plant based low fat diet but whatever happened in the hospital brought this out and I am starting to think it's some kind of attachment she picked up.

Kenny Update.

I just got back from the hospital. My brother is not having pain like he had when he went into the hospital yesterday, but the tube they have in him that goes from his nose to his stomach/intestines to pump out the contents,some of which is bile, is hurting him a bit. If he talks, that tube REALLY hurts. Kenny is not allowed to eat or drink, so he has an IV for hydration also. Kenny had another x-ray earlier, but no results on anything yet. They know he has a blockage, but the exact location and nature of the blockage has not been determined. They are speculating it is scar tissue. Where he has had the extreme pain and the suspected blockage is NOT a previous surgery site.

I am very worried his cancer has come back in a different location. My brother cannot eat very much, as he gets sick. He is only 153 pounds, too light for someone who is 6'2". His guts never started to work normally again after they reconnected them, even though the surgeon said they would in a couple of months. Now the surgeon said it could take 2 years for his guts to work normally again. He is constantly in the bathroom, as anything he eats or drinks goes through him in 10 minutes to an hour. This has made him home bound for the most part, unless there are bathrooms available very close to where he might be. His quality of life is not real good, to say the least.
