I know, it's terrible. You can see that he's staring off into space (because he can no longer see). Heart breaking.

We just came back from my daughters house a few minutes ago, as the cops and her soon-to-be ex showed up. 5 squad cars were there, lights flashing.He had called the cops, and we conclude that he told the cops that my daughter wouldn't let him have his clothes, personal items, and a few other things. He also had refused to pick up the restraining order left for him,taped to the door. Well, the cops personally handed him the restraining order. As for his things, he had totally moved out several days ago, all of his clothes, personal belongings, the TV, the computer, the kids game systems, and even the kids Christmas presents were taken by him when he moved out.The only things left were the TV stand, the computer stand, a couch and a chair that were "his". My daughter told the cops all he had left was the 2 stands and the couch and chair, and he could take them, no problem. Well, he never entered the house, and didn't take anything, he just took off, and then the cops left. Just prior to him showing up with the cops, he called me at MY house, and I told him to never call my number again unless it was an emergency, and hung up the phone. I had a feeling something was coming down, and it did.
My grandkids were balling their eyes out when their Dad took their Christmas presents and their game systems with him, when he moved out. That was very mean of him. Tonight, with all the commotion, they were visibly upset again.

I took my daughter to Legal Aid this morning, and she filled out the application. She has to go back there with her latest pay stub and some other documents. After she drops off the documents, it will be about 2 weeks before she gets an appointment with a lawyer. The holidays are making quick action nearly impossible. In the meantime, the restraining order will have to do.

Please continue with your prayers, my friends. This is very ugly, and I expect it to get worse.

I am so sorry tiger! This is awful! And not fair to the children at all. I will absolutely keep you and your family in my prayers.

I am not letting my grandkids see me upset or crying. They are going through so much right now. :(
My daughter is trying to hold on. We are right across the alley from my daughter, so if things go down, we can be there quicker than the cops.

Yeah, I need a hug, bad. :(

Could you keep my friend in your prayers? He had a brain tumor removed several years ago, and recently started having trouble with his vision. The doctors discovered several other tumors behind his eye. He is now nearly blind in one eye. He just found out. Not sure of all of the details yet. His mother and sister just recently died from cancer. He has always been the one to help everyone in need out with whatever they needed. Please pray that others are there for him. I will do as much as I possibly can for him.

Wow, that is just so sad that he would strike out at his own kids like that.

Will certainly continue keeping all in my thoughts and prayers. Especially for him to not take this out on his own children any further than he already has.

I really needed a hug real bad last night, as I thought the cops were going to shoot ME earlier !!! As the squads were still pulling up in the front of my daughters house, I asked my daughter where her copy of the restraining order was. She said it was in her glove box in her car, which was parked in the driveway on the side of the house. I told her I was going out to get it,and for her to stay in the house, even though there was a copy for my son-in-law taped to the front door. I thought 2 copies were better than one, seeing the circumstances of the moment. My son-in-law had refused to take it a couple of days before.
So, I go unlock her passenger side door and open her glove box, and 2 cops with their hands resting on their guns on the unsnapped holsters came up to me, and said my daughters name. I put my hands up, and told them I was not her, I was GRANDMA !!! :(
I thought they were going to shoot me !!! Who knows what my son-in-law had told them to get them all there at my daughters house !!!

Wow, that is so scary. So very glad to hear that it ended well.
