He had a brain tumor removed several years ago, and recently started having trouble with his vision. The doctors discovered several other tumors behind his eye. He is now nearly blind in one eye. He just found out. Not sure of all of the details yet. His mother and sister just recently died from cancer. He has always been the one to help everyone in need out with whatever they needed. Please pray that others are there for him. I will do as much as I possibly can for him. Thanks! I am an active duty Veteran in transition to the civilian job sector. As my family and i make this transition we are faced with many of the same financial hurdles that come with fluctuating income and rising cost of living. Daily it seems the punches just keep coming but with those hardships something amazing is happening. As a result of my stubborn and persistent search for adequate employment, I am on the cusp of securing a 50k salary in retail/commercial sales. I also have other prospects just in case. What I ask is that you all pray for the well being of my family and for future employment endeavors. Above all, I ask that you pray for our very souls, that we may be guided towards a path of righteousness and service to one another. In Jesus name I humbly ask and pray, Amen. Wow. I just had an overwhelming sense of peace and thankfulness come over me. Amen! God is good! |

And a very big thank you for your prayers and support over this entire year. Last year today, I was in the hospital with a hemoglobin (HGB) of 3.0. It set a record for the hospital for a walk in patient. Usually it requires multiple stabbings or a gunshot to get that low and no one walks in with that. For the second time in a year I had the docs tell me it was too late to help. For the second time I prayed God to send me someone who wouldn't give up on me and he did. My bone marrow was 99% cancer and I was not capable of producing blood, only more cancer cells. It took 16 transfusions total to get me up to 8.0 which is still low. I talked my saving doc into letting me out before Christmas and she complied with the caveat that if I didn't come see her after the holidays, I would be dead by spring. Today I am on my second round of experimental treatment and have been making my own blood for 8 months. I go this afternoon for a CT scan to see the progress of this second round of treatment. I have no fear. I know everything will look good. God has spared me three times in this life. Prayer on my behalf was a huge part of this. Thank you prayer warriors for all you do. Some of us would not be here without you. |
