This started before my washer bit the dust this morning. :( My washing machine finally bit the dust this morning, spraying water everywhere. It has been repaired 3 times already, but this time, it is really dead. All the seals are gone, and the bearings are making a noise.It is 8 years old, and as soon as the 5 year warranty ended, it has been trouble. I went to the used appliance place, but they have no refurbished washers available until friday, at the earliest. I am so squeezed for money right now, and my SS check doesn't come until friday.I have no choice but to wait until friday. If I cannot find a used washer cheap, I will be doing all the laundry by hand in the old concrete tub in the basement, as I had to do before, several times. A few prayers are needed here, friends. This has not been a real good day. :( Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |

I have an addiction and an obsession that has reared it's ugly head in the past and I have gone back to again. I have once again become obsessed with the internet and all things in it to the point I have been spending 6 hours or more a day sitting on a computer. I have done it again to the detriment of my family and especially my wife. This is not the world I wish to live in. I spent last Friday night living in this fake world while I let my wife sit ignored and alone. She deserves better then that and my family deserves better. I am ashamed that I have let this happen and I am a fool for wasting so much time staring into this machine. But, I am done now and I will not fall into this trap again.
