I'm so sorry that happened. Sometimes near completion the patient's eyes open briefly and get raked with the anesthesiology equipment, or even as something as simple as someone's sleeve. There are multiple tubes which I will not go into also that could have penetrated the eyelid enough to scratch it if his eyes were closed. If that is the case you will see an abrasion on his eyelid.

I hope that he takes it slow and easy and if it requires another day in hospital that he take it in stride.

Polerade do a prayer for me and My family. I dont want to pity myself but its been a tough year. My father is sick and my whole life just changed drastically, now I just feel depressed and feel like I have bad energy most of the time. And that's not me at all. I don't know but I would really appreciate a prayer. Thank you

Thank God for you all...it means so much!

It's as though I'm afraid to say my dad is doing well. Like I'm afraid it will 'jinx' him or something...

He did get to come home last night. Meaning his and my mom's home. I don't live with them. Lol, often times I wish I still did though. For many reasons.

He's doing much better and I just wanted to thank all of you for your prayers!

As for me, I met with my local hematologist yesterday. She's going to adjust the hemoglobin level requirement for my weekly blood drainings. Lowering the level.

Previously if my hemoglobin was 16 or above they would skip that week of draining me. She's lowering it to 14 and above.

I was hoping maybe she would change my draining schedule to every other week. No such luck. The weekly schedule continues and now with the lower hemoglobin level requirement, I'll be spending more time in the chair.

I miss Gomez. : (

He understood all of this and really helped keep my spirits up.

You all do too. For that I am so grateful! I just wish he was around too.



I see the hematologist out in Boston again next Friday. Idk. Blah.

I messed up...my Boston appointment is tomorrow. Too many appointments. I'm getting them confused now. :\

And apparently my local hematologist only lowered my hemoglobin level requirement for draining to 15, not 14. However I still have to be drained today.
