Bev update.
It appears that she was not deliberately beat up, but the aid at the nursing home was very rough with Bev, and she has bruising on her arm. Bev is blind, her hearing is not good, and she has little to no feeling in her arms and hands. She is totally helpless. The nurses at the hospital are appalled at Bev's condition. Her fingers have been like this for over 2 months, with very little intervention.
The infection is also in part of her hand. We saw where the surgeon did his markings for the amputation, and it looks like they will be taking part of her hand also, besides the pointer finger and middle finger. She did not have a time set for the surgery. We were told it would be this evening, sometime after 5:30pm. So we went ahead and left after spending time with her this afternoon. We will go back tomorrow, and find out what all they did.
