Yesterday this leaped out at me Jesus knew what we all would face for 2000 years , did you see my thread on they proved the poles are weakening , but we knew this hold on to what we know to be true

Bev Update.
Even though her vitals look a lot better, yesterday the doctor told Bev she wasn't going to live for very long, as her heart function is very low, and her kidneys have totally quit, besides the rampant diabetes and everything else wrong. He also told her, that the next time she coded, they probably would not be able to bring her back, maybe a 20% chance. The doctor told her she would have a very painful death the way she was going, and this way would be easier. Bev made the decision this morning to stop dialysis and all medications, and just die. She has given up, after fighting for all these years.

We went there today, even though we had to squeeze it in between 2 doctor appointments, picking up the banner for the house for my youngest daughter's graduation party on Sunday, and dropping our dog Sheba off at the groomers, and picking her back up. I am going nuts over here, running back and forth to the hospital, and trying to get ready for the huge bash here on Sunday.

WHOA !!! I just got a call. Bev has decided to fight some more !!! She wants back on everything, and has requested the DNR be removed !!! This is her decision, and the family had better back her up on this.I truly think the doctor pushed her into this, and so did Bev's daughter who has power of attorney.

PLEASE send more prayers, my friends ! This has been a real roller coaster day for us.

I have to add, my friends, that God is always with us, and sends His Angels to comfort us.
After we left Bev's room, I suggested to my oldest daughter that we grab a bit to eat in the hospital cafeteria, as it was nearly 2pm, and we both had nothing to eat so far today.
So, she goes to the main line for the day's specials, and I go to the self serve macaroni and cheese and fish section. I am fumbling around, and sniffling. There is no server in this section, you serve yourself. On the other side of the counter, a young man in cafeteria worker apparel appeared, asking me if I was OK. I told him I was, as I am sniffling, but my sister-in-law was not doing good. He smiled, and handed me a piece of cardboard with this written on it: "The Cross alone is Grace". "God's Grace IS the Cross". Then he disappeared. God sent an Angel to comfort me, my friends. :)

Bev's daughter, decided to use her power of attorney when Bev changed her mind. I got a call on this a little over an hour ago from one of Bev's friends who went up to see her. Bev wants to live, and the devil daughter wants her to die. Bev is conscious, eating, lucid, etc,but her daughter, who has done NOTHING for her, wants her dead.
There is nothing I can do, but pray.
I do believe the Angel was sent as a comfort, and I also knew that my niece was going to do this. This is all in God's Hand's now. I got a hold of my former pastor who retired a couple of years ago. He is going to go to the hospital in the morning.
