Well some good and bad news.
I got the scans today, much earlier than planned. Result is I get morphine as and when I need it.

I have also got a room upgrade. Now ha e a single room with own toilet and shower.

The bad news. I am not expected to see 2017!

I now have cancer spread to liver, glands,bone and bowels!
