UPDATE !!!
We went to court this afternoon, and my daughter now has a 2 year protective order !!! The fact that the police took pictures of her injuries last week, and the STATE is going after him for domestic battery, made a big difference.

That he is born again with repentance in his love for God. I didn't read tiger's post or OMH's response to the post as glorifying the state going after him. In fact, OMH didn't mention that at all in her response. Tiger was simply stating that the state going after him played a part in her daughter getting the protective order. No one was cheering about it. It was a factor in receiving the protective order, so it was included in the most recent update. : )  There is no joy in all of this, just sadness. But, my daughter has to use the law for as much protection as the law allows.It is horrible that it has come to this, but it has, and we continue to pray.
