Yes..AMEN! There's an orphanage and school, I've raised funds for in Les Cayes, Haiti... I've been so worried about those little kids. They must be so scared. The building structures are cinderblock or concrete, so at least they've got strong shelter, but I'm really feeling for those kids. Many lost parents in the earthquake. Please pray for all the kids in this storm's path ... That our Lord protects the kids! There are children in Haiti who grow up in orphanages and then stay on as workers, some unpaid, because its the only place they know of where they will be fed and have a cot to sleep on. Some children in those orphanages were dropped off by their parents because they could not feed them. There will be more orphaned children after this hurricane leaves and much more will have to be done to feed, clothe, and shelter them. I pray to God, their and our Father, to give everyone the will to help these children to the greatest extent we can. Not one of those children are less of God's child than we are. Pray that any donations given to their relief actually gets to them and be judicious as to who you give to. For the poster who has been raising funds for them, God bless you and you are in my prayers today also. When something like this brings the level of suffering of others to the forefront of my thoughts, I realize as bad as things are I really am fortunate in comparison to so many, and I am grateful for that.
