Almighty, Merciful and Loving Father... I know You love us and you sent Your Son to die for our sins. Please forgive all our sins. Please pray for my husband, he will undergo bone biopsy tomorrow. In Jesus' Mighty Name, please pray no trace of cancer is found. Please embrace him in Your white healing light and protect him from all harm and spiritual attacks. Please forgive him and love him, as he is also Your child.
Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, be with us always and in our darkest hours deliver our souls from despair and pray to the Father for us.

Well, I got an extended amount of prayer requests, my friends.
GEESH, when it rains, it pours.

My best friend, S., is feeling a bit better, lost 13 pounds, using 36mg of insulin a day instead of 48mg, but is having a terrible time walking because of a bad knee. S. is moving to a 1st floor apartment, as the second floor is not working out because of the stairs. S. has heart trouble, too.

My late 1st husband's brother Frank died suddenly yesterday at age 65. He is the 3rd sibling to pass away, and is also the 3rd oldest of the 8 siblings.

My mother had a serious episode last night. She said she felt like someone just shut off her switch. The home health aid couldn't rouse her this morning. She finally got up, but her BP is sky high and her pulse is low. The home health aid and the nurse wanted to take her to the hospital, but she refuses.
Medicare took away her oxygen 3 weeks ago, saying she didn't need it anymore. She has been on it for over 4 years, ever since the botched pacemaker surgery. I know this means that her heart is going. :(

My dog Sheba, who is 13 years old, is very sick with a whopper bladder infection. I had to take her to the Vet this morning. I am almost broke, so I had to use my emergency credit card. :( The Vet said it will be 4-5 days until Sheba feels better.:(

My middle daughters car is about ready to bite the dust. Our mechanic replaced her starter and battery 2 months ago, and the battery went kaput already. He replaced the battery on Sunday, but it seems like she has an electrical problem with the car.It is a 1996 Pontiac. She is the sole support for her 3 children, and does not have the money for another used car.I have nothing to help her, and I feel so bad about that. :(

My husband and I are not really talking, and have not been for a few weeks. There is a lot of hostility going on over here, some of it from family stress, some from medical issues, and some from outside forces. :(

My youngest just left this afternoon for a 10 day stay in Ireland with a couple of her girlfriends from school. She really needs to get away from here, as all heck has been breaking loose. Please pray for her safety ! She is my baby, and I worry like crazy when she is not here. :(

I am running for school board in my city. With everything going on over here, I have not had substantial time to devote to my campaign. :(


I don't honestly know how I am holding things together with all of this.

Please keep us all in your prayers, my friends !!!

Yes you, do! He is right there with you! There's been times where I felt the same way, and I realized, He is why I'm holding it together.

I don't know what I would do without all the support and prayers I get here.
I am so worried my mother will pass away while my daughter is in Ireland. There is no way she can come home earlier than the 27th. She does not know her grandma is not doing good. It was enough on her to learn her uncle passed away yesterday. My daughter's boyfriend/fiancee broke up with her a little over 2 weeks ago. She is in a world of hurt over this, as they had planned to get married when he finished graduate school.They had been together 5 years.

UPDATE:

Vet called tonight - got the results back - same spindle cell cancer that the previous two were. He thinks it's pretty much the entire lump. It could be a tricky area near blood vessels, but he thinks it's high enough on the shoulder that he should be able to get it. If it's too complicated, he'll send us back to the place he did for the first time where it was actually on her spine - that was over 6 years ago. They specialize in more complicated operations.

As long as it can be gotten to, I don't worry. She's had worse before. I put it in God's hands and pray that we get to hold her for several more years to come. Whatever happens, she's been the most life loving creature I've ever seen and it's been awesome getting to watch her. I'm not ready to lose her yet, though.

Operation will be on Friday. I'll update at that point.

I had to take my dog Sheba to the Vet this morning. She has a bad bladder infection. I am supposed to get a call tomorrow if anything unusual shows up in the sample after further testing. Sheba is 13 years old.
