The doctors released my mother unexpectedly, once again, right after I got home from the hospital. Once again, they were hounding me to pick her up, and my brother had both sets of keys. It took me 2 hours to get a hold of him. He ended up picking her up, and I met him at her house to help get her in the door.
The doctors can't find anything wrong. Her own family doctor is the one who told her to go to the ER this morning, but yet he didn't admit her.All tests came back OK. When the hospital called me to pick her up, they asked if arrangements have been made for 24/7 care or for a nursing home for her. I told them no. The CNA is there 3 days a week, my daughter is there 2 days a week, my nephew is there 1 day a week, and we all are there on Sundays.She is not covered 24/7 but someone is there for a few hours each day. It is the best we can do.
I have a headache, my stomach is upset, and I am utterly exhausted. I did all my chores and got the last load of clothes in the wash right now. I will throw them in the dryer in the morning. :(
