Our Father, we come to you in solemn prayer as people who were once "one nation under God". You see our divisions, our pain, our lack of providing safety to many children, the ridicule of people who are poor and bereft of alternatives. Please bring us together again under Your protection and love and help us to once again function as a nation proud of their allegiance to You and Your Will. We are at a crossroad dim with evil and corruption. Be our Light. Please, Father, help us choose the right path. Amen.
