I lost the school board race, but that is OK. I ran a clean and honest campaign, with very little money. I was up against entrenched democrats with huge war chests. They spent thousands, and I spent $275. The school board is supposed to be non-partisan, but it is everything but that.
I left it all to God's Will. I enjoyed the run, and met some absolutely fantastic people, who prayed with me while I was on the campaign trail.:)
On a side note, a neighbor who HAD been my friend for 16 years, went totally ballistic on me at the polls for my Trump bumper sticker. She called me a F-ing B****, and was screaming at me at the top of her lungs, and screaming at the people coming to vote, to not vote for me.It was a horrible scene, but I tried my best to keep cool, and let her look like a fool.
If Trump doesn't win this,IMO, what I experienced today from the neighbor, will be the norm for all of us. We must earnestly pray that God gives us the strength to endure.
