Mother update:
Well, my brothers took her to view a facility today, where she would have her own 1 bedroom apartment, but help is just a push of the button away. Well, she will not be staying there either. My mother is extremely racist, and let her views on certain people taking care of her, loud and clear. My brothers got grief from her too. :( I am so glad I didn't go, and let them take the heat.So we are back to where we were before. This is the 2nd place she has nixed, and everyone is now done looking for a place for her.So, she is staying at her home,and there is nothing at this point we can do.

I will also pray that God softens her heart and she realizes that her options are going to dwindle as time goes on. Tough spot for your entire family. My brother is going to take her to see a nursing home on Monday. I talked to my mother at length today, and told her the other facility would give her independence, but a nursing home will not.She is insisting on staying away from certain people, and asked me where she could go to get away from them. I told her she would have to go out west, and be in the boonies, and she still might see a variety.As for around here, most of the nursing homes staff is not to her liking. This sure has gotten real ugly, real quick. :(
