In 2015 when my world turned upside down and I went through my greatest fear alone , I placed this on my desk. Psalm 45:10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Most do not know or understand why things happen as they do. That time made me live that verse. I found peace , understanding and comfort believing that He is God over all matters no matter what we humans plan or go through . We may face fearful change and the world turn upside down, but if you believe your life is in His hands then nothing , I mean nothing happens He does not allow. We are never alone and it may be painful but He will pull us through. Do not look to anything this world offers for protection and comfort. This past week I was reminded of how peer pressure and wanting to please others or be part of the crowd can make us be King Herod . Mark 6
26And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.
The air is raging with division , hate , we have a promise if we endure to the end our reward is in Heaven.

A quick update on Sonya. She had a bad seizure on the way to Fayetteville, however she didn't get any major brain damage due to it. Ben went down 2 days ago and said she is looking out the window now in her chair, she however is taking therapy daily. Her first words to Ben were "I want a cigarette". Sounds like some of the old Sonya is still there. She is actually being quiet and calm, which isn't normal for her. Maybe the small strokes she had scared her or caused the mean part of her to go away. They are saying maybe in a couple of weeks she will be able to come home.

I am watching Ricky like a hawk, went over 5 times yesterday to make sure he was okay. His health isn't good either so I keep a close eye on him. Been over there 3 times so far this morning to check on him. He is happy that she is getting better. I caught him cleaning the house yesterday, so I helped him to finish doing that.

We are planning on rearranging the living room so she can get around better when she comes home from the hospital. Right now it is so full of clutter.
