Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

An update on Sonya, she is sitting up in a wheel chair now, but very weak. They will be transferring her to another facility for rehab. She does have a feeding tube in her. They are saying 6+ months before she will be home. She is finally starting to cuss at the nurses, which tells me the old Sonya is still in there. Ricky went down, said she was cussing everyone out even him, he said if she keeps on at that rate she may get better quicker if she gets ticked off enough and decides she wants to go home.

She can use her arms, but can not use her legs at all at this point. We hope that she starts using them soon. Otherwise they will have to put her into a nursing home, Ricky can not lift and tug on her. I would try and help them however I could and they both know that, but I can't lift and tug on her either after my last heart attack and stroke. I had a hard enough time today toting a 20 pound propane tank for him. It needed to be done so I did it.

Luckily unlike the 2 of them the stroke that I had just makes it hard on me to lift things, or to go up stairs. However if it happens again it could be worse. I try and live with it, and to keep doing what I can. I just hope that Sonya at least gets to the point to where she can do what needs to be done. Even if it is walking across the floor and picking up her plate of food.

I have taken care of the 2 of them now for 5+ years, and think of them like family. I don't know what I would do without either one of them around.

Hope in a Promise

For Tandym , I have known way to many to take this route to escape this messed up world. We live in a time we can know the suffering around the globe. Judas is our example of when we really do not know where our hope comes from what we think will make it better. I have lived a good while and I have never seen such bullying hate and chaos. We are in a culture and decades of "I want to feel good," and that has caused us to not teach on how to feel bad and it is OK to feel bad. Teaching how to deal with a world that satan has power , how to face that enemy and over come. We reach for the world first. All the things in this world are temporary we have been told that by the Creator of it.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Are you teaching the children and people in your lives how to feel bad. Psalm and many more teach us how to reach for the only one that gives light to a dark world. All I read in Scriptures tell me things will only get worse . Teach the whole Bible not just what makes us feel good, teach us how to feel bad and get past the darkness and reach for the light.
Prepare the hearts for things to come and how to look up. We are at war ,it never stopped but Iran and isis is not our enemy. How can people get through perilous times if they are not equipped.

Hey guys, recently I told you about my Romanian gf (Adina) and that we were no longer together in a relationship. I asked you guys to pray so that I could win her back. Tonight after my work she came to see me there. I wonder if it's a good sign that she stepped towards me? Even if it doesn't mean much, I am glad that I could see her.

I sent her a message I was happy I had seen her. Maybe it was not a good idea to text her...
