God is loving, fair and just. He came
in the flesh to pay the ultimate sacrifice for his creations. God can not stand sin. So we must be cleansed by the sacrifice our Lord Jesus Christ made. He made it for ALL OF US. From the little to the large.... To cover all sin for as far as the eye can see... On and on and on to all generations until His return.
The Lord states the life force is in the blood. Leviticus 17:14
This is why in the OT we were required to submit animal sacrifices to God. It is why Abel's gift was better than Cain's. It is why the children of Israel were told to smear lamb blood over their door for the "Passover" of the Destroyer in the final plague of Egypt when the first born was taken.
The Lord Jesus took our place upon the cross as the ultimate sacrifice. It is a free gift from Him. Regardless of the intensity of your sin, you are still dirty if you refuse the gift. I dont know why anyone would mock and turn down such a loving and selfless gift from our Creator.
I rever Lord Jesus but I am not afraid of Him nor seek to placate Him through blind obedience. I follow cause I am truly blessed and grateful He would come in the flesh to save us from our sins. So great is our God!
And one day, when I stand before the throne of judgement before Him, I will willingly accept all He has to say and give to me. Good and bad. Because without Him I would not be.
