Prayers needed.

I have had a trying week. My mother has had several tests done, and she got the reports back, but the doctor didn't explain anything to her. So, I looked over the reports, made copies, and studied them. She has Congestive Heart Failure, and she is starting to go downhill. She is tired all of the time, which is a sign of going from stage 3 to 4. The reports listed the Congestive Heart Failure as "CHF", and she didn't have any idea what that meant. So, I was the one to tell her what that meant. You don't know how hard this was for me, my friends, to tell my mother she has Congestive Heart Failure. :(

The past couple of days, we have been trying our best to help our friend Brian move.I went to school with Brian, and have literally known him for 1/2 a century. He has been put out of his house with only 2 weeks notice.Several years ago, when Brian was healthy and still working, his Dad got cancer. Brian moved back in with his parents, took care of his Dad until he died, and stayed there and took care of his mother until she passed away.Just before Brian's mother passed away, Brian's health took a nosedive. He had to have his right hip replaced, but was able to go back to work after it healed up. Then his diabetes(FTR, he is skinny, and has always been skinny) caused that leg where he got the hip joint replaced, to get infected. The doctors had to amputate that leg just below the knee. Brian has 2 sisters, total witches, IMO, who NEVER came over to help Brian with the parents. They would come over now and then to ask for money from the parents, even though neither one of them needed it.
To make this long story short, the 2 sisters got a lawyer, forced the sale of the house, and have succeeded in putting Brian and the 2 dogs out. They are keeping all of the money from the sale of the house, as they said that Brian should have been paying rent !!! Brian has been up-keeping the house all along, paying the homeowners insurance, utilities, etc. His sisters have not helped with anything.
The one dog is a small Terrier, who was Brian's mother's dog, and the other one is Brian's dog that he brought with him when he moved in to take care of his parents.We have been unsuccessful in finding another home for the dogs, and all of the shelters in the area have said no, also. Brian has to be out on Sunday, so the only thing left to do is cut them loose. Brian doesn't even have the money to put them down, as he used every last dollar to pay for an apartment.
Brian desperately needs prayer. He has been crying. His parents home was built by his grandparents, and has been in the family for 105 years.He is heartbroken about the dogs, but he could not find an apartment where he would be allowed to keep them.

Tomorrow I am going to tell my brother about our mother's diagnoses, and explain the prognosis.I could have told him by phone, but I will see him tomorrow at our mother's home.I would rather do this in person. From everything I have researched, and the info on the doctors test results, I would say my mother has a year or less. She has been very tired the past few months, and has literally fallen asleep right in front of us, while sitting on the sofa having a conversation.
From what I have read, a younger person with this diagnoses has a life expectancy of 5 years, but someone my mothers age has a life expectancy of 1 year. :(

Brian has had a couple of other friends that have come over and are helping him sort through what is left that he can take with him. He has to be out by midnight tomorrow.I am expecting a call today or tomorrow to haul the last of what he can take.

There are things happening on GLP between people that is unbelievably wrongful and being made public for the sake of drama. I ask that we all pray for those involved and that at least they learn to keep their wrongfulness private rather than reveling in it, or dragging other people into it. There is evil throughout the world much more so because of the time we live in. Some of it is touching our fellow GLPers who need our prayers.

Please pray for rightness and fortitude for some who are falling and failing. For all those who seek life outside of God's laws, please pray for them. Thank you.

Sorry Tiger how old is she and can she not have heart surgery ?
I am glad Brian has help, One day all this will not matter and we will be with wonderful people and no sickness.

My mother is 94. Her health deteriorated after a doctor put a pacemaker in she didn't need, 4 years ago. Her heart was normal, and he convinced her she was skipping beats, which she was not. I saw her printouts, it WAS all normal. He scared her into doing this. She went into the hospital walking on her own,going shopping, eating out, etc,overall healthy for her age, and came out of the hospital 3 weeks later with a walker, wheelchair, and on oxygen 24/7, and so weak she couldn't do anything she did before.
She is part of a large group of hundreds of former patients who are suing the cardiologist and his medical corporation.This doctor was implanting pacemakers even in young healthy patients, even 20 year old's.
I know she is quite elderly, but she has had no quality of life whatsoever since this doctor did this to her. FTR, females in her family are generally in very good health, and live to their late 90's. One of her aunts was 103 when she passed away.
I wish I could do more for Brian. It just choked me up, to see him cry. :(
