Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

Need some prayers guys. My grandmother passed away last night. Shes been in severe pain, going blind and suffering from dementia for years. My mother has been taking care of her for several years now and has not received much help from her sisters and brother. Now they are all coming back to see what they get out of my grandmother's will and it breaks my heart that my mother has to go though this. Please pray for my grandmother's soul to be at peace, my mother to be strong and for all family to have their hearts warmed in this difficult time. Jesus please hold my grandma in your hands and let her know she is safe now. In your precious name. Amen.

Family can turn into a group of vultures when someone dies. When my father-in-law was still alive in the hospital, a few days before he died from cancer, my brothers-in-law went and took everything they wanted from his home, and called my husband when they were done.
When one of my friend's mother died, her aunt, who hadn't even talked to her sister, my friends mother, for about 45 years, showed up from the other end of the state, and demanded everything of value from the house. She was shown the door.
When my Dad died, my mother gave everything to my brothers. Even though it was stipulated that I was supposed to get my Dad's car, and a few other things, I was lucky to get the flag that was on his casket, as no one else wanted it.

Material things are not going to give the vultures happiness.

I read a Psalm a day in order before prayer and the timing of this one was much needed ,to be reminded David longed for things we long for now and there will be a day all things are made right...

So, many people going through so much pain and sadness at the moment.

I am beginning to wonder how many of us are personally struggling at the moment.

I know that I have faith which holds me up, but many don't.

May they find faith and may the ones that need prayers at the moment, know that they are being cared for.
