God has me in the Book of Psalm before prayer time and the KJ version which I have not been in since a child. I have to go back sometimes to NKJ and see what a word means or get a clear understanding. Today was Psalm 22 and as I read it I cried as this is what happened to Jesus during the Cross. Many years ago God showed me The Bible is not old and new and the satan has used that many times in many ways. I say this all the time it is One Story, beginning and end.

We have all faced the silence like David.
6But I am a worm, and no man;
A reproach of men, and despised by the people.
7All those who see Me ridicule Me;
They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8“He trusted in the Lord, let Him rescue Him;
Let Him deliver Him, since He delights in Him!”
These words have been said to me many times , it is hard but remember the Cross.
16For dogs have surrounded Me;
The congregation of the wicked has enclosed Me.
They pierced My hands and My feet;
17I can count all My bones.
They look and stare at Me.
18They divide My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.
Luke 23And they divided His garments and cast lots. 35 And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.”
I love how every story relates to the Cross and Life of Jesus and the Victory over all this mean world offers. It was mean then and will get worse as time draws near . If you where taught old and new like many ,read the bible again and place the life of Jesus in every story.
