Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

Hello all i wanted to give a quick update. I am staying at a safe place with my children for now. My husband and i had a in depth discussion over these behaviors that ive found concerning and that have troubled me. He admitted he didnt realize what he was doing was hurting me so much and that he just wants me to be faithful to him. I told him that we can not fix this alone and we need professional help if it is to be fixed. We started marriage counseling this morning with our pastor and had a 2 hour session with him. We have agreed to marriage counseling 2x to 3x a week for the foreseeable future until things start to get better. He also enrolled in anger management classes and starts them tomorrow. I told him i love him dearly but i can not allow myself and our children to live with him until things change. So my children and i are staying with a friend from church for at least next few months to see if counselling will save our marriage. My husband doesnt know where she lives but we have agreed to stay in contact so he can see our babies and spend time with them. I do not want to leave him forever i love him deeply and want to heal our family. I believe that God guided me to our pastor not for a way out but a way to repair. I am being safe though and not getting my hopes up just yet. But i will continue to pray for my husband and that God guides him and heals his body and spirit so one day we can reunite together under one roof. Till then i have to keep my family and myself safe. If the day comes that counseling in our church and classes have not changed anything, then i will sever our bond and continue to nurture our children alone. But it is good to see that i am not alone and i have my church supporting both of us in our own ways we need at the time. I appreciate your prayers friends. I am glad that i wrote my feelings here. If i had never done so i dont know if i wouldve found the strength on my own to rise up and ask for help. I promise to stay safe and not give in to the temptation of returning too soon. I see that this is going to take many many months if its possible to repair. And then only will work if we are equally yoked in the process of healing.

In 2001 I was not who I am today in the Lord. I lived for the world and pulled God out only when I needed Him...

When I woke to the news today that we bombed Syria ,once again 9-11-2001 and the Towers came in my mind. Our Soldiers since wars began knows what war sounds, feels and looks like. The rest of us sit safely where we are and take comfort our Government and Soldiers face the battle and will protect us.

Everyone right now knows where they where at on 9/11. One reason for that is, that is the closest we here in America have heard, felt and seen what war looks like as civilians . We where near the entrance of Yellowstone National Park at the time, a long way from home. We decided to take comfort our Government and Soldiers would protect us and we continued with this much needed vacation. It was not till this year God allowed me to see that whole event with different eyes.

That week most of America stopped the routines of life and all kinds of chaos was faced. We experienced one of the most beautiful places in the world during that time and for years I felt guilty for that experience. God allowed us a time of peace and protection inside that Park boundary.

This year it came to me, that is what it is like to be in His arms no matter what is going on around us. We can find His peace, comfort and give our fears to Him. I hope this helps someone today as we truly never know what a day brings, but if we place out trust in the One that knows every thought, every plan, every action before it is carried out, you will be in His park boundary. The world is not ours, never was we are just visiting like going to Yellowstone, just passing through.

1 Chronicles 29:15 For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.

No matter what a day brings...lay it at His feet, He will one day say...enough and come get us...

Dear Heavenly Father , we thank You for this day and forum , we thank You for answered prayers and Your protection , we need You every minute , we love You and ask You be with this world and it's leaders ,we ask for Your forgiveness this day in being bad stewards of what You have given us , every single prayer warrior on this forum has a need today and we lay at Your feet , help us to hold firm to all You have taught us and let go of what we need to let go of and in times of war help us find peace in You, You gave each of us talents help us use them in a way to bring Glory to Your Kingdom , may the Angels learn great things today, show us Your Glory , set our priorities on You in all we do and say in Jesus name amen.
The Lord has given all of us things over the last decade or so to understand what is and will happen. Keep the faith and no matter what happens do not allow satan a foot hold. The Spiritual Battle can be seen right now in nature and human actions always could be. There are only 2 sides and our enemy uses humans and things, you know anything of God is good and lines up with His word... The Book of Eli keep popping in my head today, we could see a version of that in our life time. The thing to remember is the worse things get the closer we are to this earthly battle being over. Love to all... Do not fear what man can do...Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

I actually watched the towers burn, from across the water, a sight that I will NEVER forget...

But your post struck me for the fact that this life is growing more and more dim. I just returned from an 'earthly paradise' but somehow I knew it was a mere vapor. Our family had a wonderful bonding experience, granted that is very important, but when I just now got to hear Pastor Paul Begley give a testimony of a man being baptized and springing out of the water with no 'physical' help, I am ecstatic!!
