46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up WA and her whole family, we ask their be no cancer , that within a week she will feel much better , we call on Your healing hand in all of this , we thank You for what You have already done in her life and ask the enemy have no more power and calm water come we give You the glory help us all remember our lives are in Your hands and Your will be done in Jesus name amen

Psalm 49 , what great words for me today and any that have fear in their hearts today. Psalm 49:5 Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?
6 They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
We have set up a system that satan has power of, where everything is based on wealth watch the news. We are told not to do this and a stern warning comes in 1 Timothy 6:10 of what happens when allow money to control our very thoughts and actions. Read Psalm 49 and find peace knowing none of that matters in the end.

I have witnessed many times what money does to us even in my own life. There was something I saw this year that showed me the power the evil one has with money. I know some people that grew up living day to day and never had anything of worth as the world calls worth . They stuck together as a family and survived with little and had great faith in God. Now they are older and at the end of this journey we call life they came into some money , not a lot but more than they where use to. Then they began to fight and divide up make plans and scheme against each other. People started showing up that was not there the days of nothing. I ask them to look at each other and remember the days under a tree , who was there then and explained what money does. Then peace came as they understood what satan had done with a little money. Now if a little money can do this , we know what excessive amounts can do. We need it to live on this planet and nothing is wrong with having what God has blessed each person with, as long as God is first and it does not control your every thought and action. I only have to look at celebrities that could and can have anything this world offers and many have had nothing but misery so much it took their lives. The power of the love of money can be seen in the poor and rich. We all just did our taxes and had to reflect on what we did with what God gave us , was He first ? We are in times that the threat of a war we feared in the 50s and 60s is back on the front page. Psalm 49 says :
10 For he sees wise men die;
Likewise the fool and the senseless person perish,
And leave their wealth to others.
11 Their inner thought is that their houses will last forever,
Their dwelling places to all generations;
They call their lands after their own names.
12 Nevertheless man, though in honor, does not remain;
He is like the beasts that perish.

Our houses here will not last forever they are temporary. John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Make this your base for happiness. That poor family was happy for a tree to shade the day and then money and the thought of a home started to divide all that they had ever had in each other... The end of Psalm 49 says it all:

17 For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.
18 Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.
19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
20 Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
