Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

My mothers smile when we walked into the house unannounced Saturday was all I needed to confirm right choices.
This life has overwhelming choices from the cereal isle to what invitation to go to. Pastor David brought a great Sermon out of Titus on family and love. It was one I had not heard before and many of us would have not gone there for a Mother's Day Sermon , but that is why God as different parts of the Body to make a Whole.

If we are not what God has called us to be in Scriptures as a Church family then we are living in self and of the world as mothers and dads. We are not loving or showing love as God called us to. His love is not like worldly love.
Pastor David spoke on this ;
Titus 2:1 But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: 2 that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; 3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
Our choices in this life decide the next, not only where but what we will receive . Pastor David reminded us all "not given to much wine," can also mean anything from our cell phones to what we put first before God and what God has placed in our lives to be stewards of. It was a great message... This day is a good day to see if we are the being mothers and dads of good sound doctrine. I only had to see my moms tired face or look at my husband to know this life is not what we live for but the next.

Prayers needed.

I have had a trying morning. At 7:45am, while my oldest daughter was on her way to my mothers house to watch/help her, I get a call from my mother. She had fallen in her hallway, and didn't know if she could crawl to the door to let my oldest daughter in.I called my daughter and told her to hurry up to her grandma's as she had fallen in the hallway. When my oldest got to my mothers, my brother was already there. He has a house key and let himself in. My mother was yelling for help, as she couldn't get up from the floor.My mother is OK. She had an appointment with the cardiologist at 9am, so my oldest daughter and my brother took her there. The doctor checked her out real good. She didn't get hurt when she fell, THANK GOD !!!

I couldn't go to my mothers, as my youngest daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted/cut out this morning.2 of her wisdom teeth were literally laying flat, deep inside of her lower jaw, and the upper 2 were partially sideways.She is home now, and her mouth is still bleeding a bit. Her insurance would not pay to have her knocked out, so she was just numbed for the almost 2 hours it took to cut out and extract those 4 teeth.If she wanted to be knocked out, it was going to be $1,300 out of pocket for the anesthesia. :(

I do not need any more excitement today. :(

Sending prayers tiger

The orthodontist gave her a prescription for narco.She is lying in bed right now, with ice bags on both sides of her face. She says the pain meds are helping a bit, but I can tell she is in a world of pain right now.:(
I talked to my mother via phone, because I am definitely staying here with my baby, even though my baby IS 22. My mother didn't get hurt when she fell. She said the wheel went screwy on her walker, and that is why she fell.

Your youngest daughter is a tough cookie! I couldn't imagine having my wisdom teeth out without being under.
