God, I am restless tonight. I miss my daughter too much. For my heart aches for her too be back into my arms. I love her so much. Thank you for the love, faith and sound mind. Thank you for all of the people you have brought into my life. I thank you for your protection over me and my children. Thank you lord father in heaven. I have faith that these wrongs will be righted. I need your comfort tonight for the pain is so deep.

Protect us, Father God. Preserve my children from violent men, who plan evil things in their hearts and stir up wars continually. They make their tongues sting like a snake, and under their lips is the venom of vipers. Give us discernment over these men who don't know you. Father God, we ask you to guard us from the hands of the wicked and from those who plan to ensnare my children in their nets. I pray for your hedge of protection over my children. Isaiah 38 NKJ
I am reading the Book of Isaiah and today could have not been better timing. This chapter reminds us Who we belong to and Who gives and takes away time and life. I love this chapter. We only have to watch children at play to see ownership takes hold early. Mine is one of the first words that a child learns. Nothing , I mean nothing belongs to us not even our bodies. King Hezekiah was facing death. He reminded God how much He loved Him and all he did. We spend much time in asking forgiveness but this King did something I am not sure we do anymore. He was bold and told God this.
2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, 3 and said, “Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
Of course God is amazing what He did.
4 And the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying, 5 “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years. 6 I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city.”’ 7 And this is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do this thing which He has spoken: 8 “Behold, I will bring the shadow on the sundial, which has gone down with the sun on the sundial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward.” So the sun returned ten degrees on the dial by which it had gone down.

I spent most of my life sad on my birthday ,I never understood why till last few years. We make that day all about us.
Jesus was young when He died on the Cross. God could have kept Him here hundreds of years as He did with Noah or any prior to Jesus . The Cross is the best place to go for answers to the questions in this life. God gave us many things in The Cross, comfort is one of those .
The Cross helps us when we lose someone that is young to remember it is not about years ,but about God's purpose not ours. The Cross tells us everything about life and death. Our lives have nothing to do with years as we have made it. Our culture makes a big deal about birthdays from day one or when when someone makes it to 100.
Jesus is our example for everything, notice He never celebrated His birthday, not once... His life was to give life to others . He had a short time on earth , what He did with it and how He died for us is what matters . Re-think life as we have made it ,the one true enemy has always wanted us to think it is about us.
The example of a birthday celebrated in Scriptures is an ugly one , Matthew 14 with King Herod. It reminds us when we think it is about us as Herod and his wife did , death comes. The life of Jesus and His death brought life and no matter the years we have ,we are to follow Him...
King Hezekiah was given 15 more years to live and in chapter 39 we see what he did with it ,all he had will end up in Babylon. Stop today and ask where will all we are doing with the time given to us ,end up. King Hezekiah did not show the Babylonians what God had done for him, but all the gold and silver and goods in his house. Our lives are for One purpose and that is to show the Babylonians what Jesus did for all. We have today...

And look in Daniel 5, at how God used the gold / silver wine challices /cups / goblets, that were taken from Jerusalem to Babylon

Our lives & time on earth ALL about what / who we love the most.

Jesus made it clear to love God more than anything or anyone else.

Look at how some folks act when a loved one dies. Instead of giving God thanks for having the person in their lives for the time that they were here on earth, they grieve endlessly and even get angry with God.



There's nothing wrong with celebrating a birthday. Unfortunately, most folks fail to give God the glory He deserves at those moments in time, since He's the one who sent us to this beautiful creation called Earth. And He also gave us the people who love & help us while we are here.

Please continue to pray for this situation, which is still unresolved. There are some very opportunistic people trying to take advantage of my wife and I. We are losing sleep and have no peace about this situation. The people living in our house owe us over $4,000 and have continuously lied about paying. Please pray for a breakthrough here and for justice in this situation. This is a huge source of pain and doubt for us.
