When God Speaks

Some of my favorite stories in the Bible is when God spoke to someone. He seemed to always chose one. In the days of the Garden and Noah He walked with people but due to our wicked nature He could no longer do that.
Moses is a great example with the burning bush . He showed the people Who He was in nature during the days Moses and Pharaoh . He spoke to Job out of a whirlwind. There are many more but God has always spoke through nature. He is so Holy we would die if we saw him as humans on earth. He sent Jesus to speak to us in a different form but nature was used many times. The Cross is the go to place for our lives and all of the Bible is connected to that Great Day.
I read daily many peoples thoughts and concerns and I have never seen such a longing for His return. I know of few that are not facing a fiery trial right now. 1 Peter 4:12 says we are to not be surprised , yet we are and it is not easy.
Earth is a battle field and war has been raging since the days of Noah. Peace will not be found on earth it is God's threshing floor. Peace is found in Jesus standing on the front lines of this war. Many are saying, if God exist where is He.
He lives in us as followers and He can be seen in a rainbow or when a good deed is done in His name . He can be heard in thunder or in a Spirit filled song .
He can be felt in a cool breeze or a hug from a brother or sister in Christ. Since the Cross we have been working towards the end of this planet. When time gets closer it will be a bigger war zone. I took the time to see what events took place at the Cross that repeat at His coming.

Matthew 27 :45Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land

Matthew 24: 29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Matthew 27:51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection,

Luke 21:25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

We should not be shaken if we know Who shakes the earth or makes it dark. Know what and who God uses to speak to us. He never left us, we just forgot what His word says. It may seem silly to you but today when I saw almost 800 earthquakes has shaken Yellowstone I found peace. I know Who shakes that beautiful Park...
