The tenants were finally locked out by the sheriff. We honestly do pray for their safety and well being and hope this will be a wake-up call for them as well. Apparently they have family in the area that can help them out, fortunately.

It's going to be a long road getting any of our money back, dealing with the tenants' belongings in the house, and putting the house back to normal, but we are SO GRATEFUL.

Thanks to all who imparted advice and/or prayed for this request! What a reminder not only of the need for reset in society, but God used this as a reminder that he wants us BROKEN sometimes so we fully rely on Him and trust in Him.

I am still a bit down, and still cannot fathom how someone could have done this.

Because evil has gained territory this was my verse today and a reminder why we just focus on our call and not the worlds

Let Your Women Keep Silence

There is only one place this phrase is in Scriptures 1 Corinthians 14:34 , where there was serious problems, notice “your women.”. Like so many words in the Bible we see the world has went from one extreme to another. We either do not allow them to speak at all or they are in full charge over the church.

I have studied a long time about women God used and how in Scriptures. I longed many times to have my own church and try and create a church as seen in Scriptures.

Since Eve was the weaker one that the enemy used in the Garden ,we have paid for that in many ways, such as child birth. Adam was weak and listened to her so much caution comes from that one event. Abraham listened to Sarah.

There can be all kinds of arguments on women in the church and when I struggled with this I was led to the twelve Jesus chose. Jesus is our example for this life. Jesus did not pick 6 women and 6 men or any other scenario we could come up with , He chose twelve men to lead the church to come.

Then when He gave me a book “ and I had questions as to why. Why that first bridge walk and a call to end the drought as He did with Elijah. Then God reminded me of the scene in John 20:1-18.
God showed us through the twelve , plus Paul and others how He wanted the church set up. God never intended women to be silent with His message as in John 20. Galatians 3:28 has so many messages in it ,but one is we are one in Christ. We are all to use the gifts God gives us in the way He chooses.
There will not be a perfect church on earth because this world is not perfect and has a busy enemy. If you have question of any kind ask God to show you in Scriptures in a time little truth can be found outside His words. Confusion is not of God and He is clear on all the things we need to know. God spoke and chose all kinds of women in Scriptures and still does.

Pray for me as God is saying time to break free and go out on my own kinda i know what he means but still some confusion

How's & Why's don't really matter as they don't change anything. Evil is evil...no further understanding is needed.

Accept that you have absolutely NO control over things like that.

Give thanks to the Lord for the fact that it wasn't one of your kids / brothers / sisters etc...

Folks who push the "no women" argument like to use the "God never changes" but if you look at various points in scripture you will see that He does listen to reason. You can see it in discussions that God had with Abraham...Moses...David's punishment over the census...etc...

I'm sure the Lord has taken notice of how life / society has changed over the last 2000 years, in particular the organized churches led by MEN & how they have strayed from God & His Son. They are using whomever they choose keep the Word being taught.

I know what it is like to have a family member shot. I posted on here years ago, when my husband was shot pointblank with a BB gun when he was out walking the dog in our alley. The barrel was literally inches away from his arm. His thick leather jacket and layers of clothes stopped the BB from going into his arm, but left a mark. I will never forget my husband coming back in the house, trying to yell, but couldn't catch his breath. He has emphysema.My husband was one of several people around the city shot with a BB gun pointblank that day, and the perps were never caught.

I have seen people shot and killed in my old neighborhood. I held one kid until the ambulance came. He died at the hospital.That child was at my then 8 year old daughters birthday party at my old house 3 weeks before this, sitting on my sofa and gobbling down ice cream and cake with the other kids. Yeah, I held him as he was dying.He was shot in the head.The bullet blew off a small section of the top of his skull.He was conscious until the paramedics got there.

All life is precious, whether it is your family or your pets. Anyone who would shoot an innocent pet, would have no problem shooting innocent people, either.

Yeah, I got feelings, but I also got a hard shell from what all I have seen and experienced in my nearly 64 years.

My Pastor is a dynamic woman, on Fire for Jesus and will confront ANY demon. Unfortunately, men have been silenced in this rebellious society and the women have been standing in the gap, so to speak.
She is praying for a man of God to help in the Church, but no one is really stepping up.

I worry about folks who grieve over a pet too much.

Look at PETA for example...a good number of them give massive amounts of money for animals yet do nothing for fellow humans.



There are folks who blame God and grieve so much that they lose their faith.



And ALL of us and our loved ones will go sooner or later.

So the choice is to either be angry / blame God for the loss...or give thanks to Him that He allowed the person / pet into our lives for the time that He did.

I choose and promote the later.
