If Tiger is anything like me then White Foot was one of her children and just as precious, so saying "Give thanks to the Lord for the fact that it wasn't one of your kids / brothers / sisters etc..." is probably being a bit insensitive.

I have seen people shot and killed in my old neighborhood. I held one kid until the ambulance came. He died at the hospital.That child was at my then 8 year old daughters birthday party at my old house 3 weeks before this, sitting on my sofa and gobbling down ice cream and cake with the other kids. Yeah, I held him as he was dying.He was shot in the head.The bullet blew off a small section of the top of his skull.He was conscious until the paramedics got there.
All life is precious, whether it is your family or your pets. Anyone who would shoot an innocent pet, would have no problem shooting innocent people, either.
Yeah, I got feelings, but I also got a hard shell from what all I have seen and experienced in my nearly 64 years.
