I want to send all of you a hug !!! You all are my rock !!!

I did a few things around the house today, but now I feel like taking a nap. I am so tired of being sick, and I had to do something, as my house was not looking like it should.

I also canned 12 jars of black raspberry jam today, praying the whole time that I would have the strength to finish the job. I thought I would have only 6 or 7 jars at most, because there were only a few berries left on the vines this morning, and I had only a couple of small bowlfuls I picked earlier in the week. I watched the batch cooking in the pot nearly double itself before my eyes. God is Good !!! I had 34 jars total this year, and I am thankful !

I defended myself against the verbal attacks by my husband while I was canning the jam. He said I should have told him that I was going to pick and can berries, and he would have watered the vines last night. So he said I only get shriveled dried up ones to make jam. Well, the ones I picked this morning were plump and juicy. I told him that seeing I got pneumonia and a partial lung collapse, I did not know yesterday that I would be able to make jam today. When I was getting the 2nd half of the batch of jars into the pot to process, he jumped all over my case for not using the lid tightener he bought me last year. I told him I didn't need it, as the jam jars are easy to tighten, but the quart jars for pickles are harder to do. He said I wasted his money that he paid for the jar lid tightener. Gosh, I hope that $4 didn't break him, LOL !!! I told him that doesn't he have anything better to do than criticize everything I do? He walked away from me when I said that.

So, I am feeling better today, and a bit feisty. Thank you for the prayers, my friends ! Please keep them coming, as tomorrow morning just might be a bit rough.
