Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

Please pray for my youngest son, 'T.', I ask in the name of Jesus Christ.

He is struggling since a breakup with his wife, and they have a 6 year old daughter. She cheated on him, and then left.

He is taking out his anger on all around him, and his personality is taking a hit for the worse lately.

He was always the one who everybody loved... the baby.

He is denouncing God in his pain, he is turning from the very thing he needs for strength to make it through this situation.
Satan is ripping his guts out with hurt and anger, so please, all you Christians, I have never asked for prayers before, but I am asking now.

I ask for The Father to call my son, to his heart of love, and bring T. to walk beside Him and feel his grace and love.
I ask for my son, T. to be baptized in the name of the Lord by his own choosing, and fall to his knees and repent.

Protection From The Sun

Last night an unexpected Solar Flare burst from the Sun that lasted for hours. I have watched space weather before I had internet, I love all kinds of weather. Now that we can see far out into the Heavens it is much more fascinating to watch.

Humans from the beginning forget Who created and controls the Sun. While we can watch what it does , just like earthquakes we can not predict. Earth has protection from Space , we can not see it but it is there. We can not see God right now but He is our protection just like those invisible layers He created that can stop Solar Particles. Every once in a while the protection is not strong enough for what the Sun sends our way and we can see its affect many things . Auroras the most beautiful of the effects, create floating rainbows of colors and reminds us Who created earth.

We know of two that reeked havoc on man made things in 1859 and in 1977. Since this time we have created an environment with little fore thought of it happening again. I try and look at all things especially nature at what God is saying and look to His Scriptures.

He made the sun stand still in :
Joshua 10: (KJV)
13And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

We know He made things go dark for Pharaoh in :

Exodus 10:
21And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.

He did it again at The Cross :

Luke 23
44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

We know it will happen again before He returns :

Matthew 24
29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:


So do not fear if a 1859 or 1977 happen again and remember Who is in control , we think we are but we are not... Job 38 great reminder why and what for... We could lose communication with each other as we have it now , but we never lose communication with God...

Next week we talk to his oncologist to see if he is a candidate for new "Checkpoint Inhibitor".

The Lord has given him a new Spirit and I pray for a new improved immune system to attack the cancer.

Thank you for the prayers, my friends !!! I feel a lot better, but still a little bit congested.

Between yesterday and today I canned about 50 jars of pickles.
in two of the batches I was processing, one jar exploded in each batch, creating a real mess. The jars were brand new, and Ball is getting a call from me on monday. :( I have been canning my own fruits and veggies for 50 years, and I know I didn't mess up, I just had the misfortune of getting a few substandard jars. For the past 50 years of canning, I have had only 1 jar go boom for me, and that was about 25 years ago.

I have to go buy more wide mouth jars and some more lids and rings early tomorrow morning, as I am making pickled onions tomorrow, and have run out of wide mouth jars. :(

I think the steam from the processing, and the cooking vinegar from the pickles really has helped clear up my lungs.

I will have a lot more steam and cooking vinegar to loosen my lungs up some more tomorrow, when I make the pickled onions.
