Israel's Love For Joseph
Genesis 37:
3Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many colors.


God is showing me so much in studying the life of Joseph, I have either forgotten or never saw some of this .
Israel had many sons but we see from that verse he loved Joseph more than any of his children. That caused all kinds of problems down the road. God turned this story around for His Glory , but we should learn from Israel. Many years ago God showed me nothing is mine. Everything from my breathe today to my loved ones in my life are His.
The story of Joseph could have had many different outcomes ,but it had the one we read about . One of the greatest things the Lord has allowed me to see, today the building we go to worship Him is His. No entity , no person or persons has ownership but stewardship of it.
Once we wrap our heads around this ,then when we become Israel and lose our most loved person, place or thing it is easier. The greatest thing about this whole story is it reminds us while we lose loved ones, we will see them again in a much better way and place. Everything and I mean every person ,place and thing does not belong to us . This earth and all that is in it will pass... Jesus and Heaven can be seen in this story. To Israel Joseph had died , God gave Joseph a new life and Israel saw him again at a time most needed.
Last night I dreamed of many people that have gone before me , we will see our loved ones again like Israel saw Joseph and they are in a much better place than we are...
