My journey in Churches allowed me to see things ,many never experienced. I was born and raised in Texas and never crossed another state line till I was much older.
Once we moved to Montana, God allowed me to see Churches can be different from one State to another. One of the greatest things I came home with is what we do inside those buildings matter. I have seen things in Texas from auctions in the Pulpit with guns to turning away the hungry at the door.

We never stopped worshiping a Holy God, we just brought Him down to our level. Last night I did something in a tired moment that I preach against. We still serve this God ,2 Samuel 6:7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.

Once I came to understand Who I say I loved , if I approached churches with this attitude , I was corrected and told we are no longer under the Law or that was the old testament . We are no longer saved by the Law and we still worship the God in 2 Samuel.

The one really bad fit of anger Jesus had was this , Matthew 21:12 Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. 13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’” NKJ

I have seen verses like the one above watered down and “come as you are,” and many others to worship the Holy God in 2 Samuel as we want. The Cross did many things but it never took away The God Exodus 3:5
Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”

What was done on the Cross is reason enough to worship God with respect and remember how Holy He is...For generations we have not prepared the children for Who we will all do this. Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

The world has come into the House of Prayer in ways that we no longer look different than anything else. In The Book of Revelation some words of warnings to the churches are these , loveless , compromising, corrupt, dead and lukewarm. Remember what was done and Who it was done for...He is Holy but do we know what that means?

Don't know how it works in your state controlled China, but my Christian God is not a bigot.

This happened to me. 30 years of a close friendship with my best friend down the tubes, no explanation, no warning. The only thing I can figure out was some minor religious opinions I had that might have offended them in some way. But they should not have been offended, as they knew I am quite open with my opinions, as were they on religious issues,politics, and everything else.I messaged apology's to them, no reply. It is like they have dropped off the face of the earth.
I have not told my children, as my best friend had been part of their lives also, and they do not need to feel my grief. We recently looked at the pictures through the years of my kids making duplicate mugging faces with my best friend, drawing pictures with them, holding them as babies, etc.
You never get over this hurt. All you can do is pray for them, and leave it all to God's Will.

I grew up reading King James Version of the Bible. Many decades later I have learned one word added or taken away changes the whole meaning. I have also learned it is the smallest words that can have powerful meanings.
I am in Exodus 10 and found something I have missed before.
2 And that thou mayest tell in the ears of thy son, and of thy son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that ye may know how that I am the Lord. KJV
“That ye may know how that I am the Lord.”

“Know how,” all other version say something else or leave out the word “how.” God is about to step up His level of warning to Pharaoh and this time the whole earth will” know how,” He is the Lord. I love this story and Chapter 10 is full of messages.
Verse ,4 Else, if thou refuse to let my people go, behold, to morrow will I bring the locusts into thy coast:
5 And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remaineth unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which groweth for you out of the field.
The face of the earth is about to be coverd by locusts.
When I read this over and over two things really struck me. One is of course God shows Moses and Pharaoh Who and how He is in nature and we are to share this from generation to generation to generation.

As a farmers daughter I learned to see God in nature like rain and droughts as in my book. Today I saw we no longer see Him in locusts. I have lived long enough to have seen crops destroyed by many things even locusts. We no longer go to God when this happens , we spray and kill what gets in the way of our harvest. I can remember being in the fields and planes flying over to spray for all kinds of things. I grew up with DDT. We now understand the effects of many pesticides that cause cancer and all kinds of defects.
When we grow up with something it can seem natural and we do not even give it thought , but today I see something new. When humans take God out of a problem and create their own solution it can have devastating consequences.
I am humbled by this today and we are to share from generation to generation , “ that ye may know how that I am the Lord.”
