I don't even remember coming here.

I am so discouraged and depressed can barely breath because there is a giant fire a few miles away. My boyfriend dumped me when I should have dumped him.

I start a new job on Tuesday.

I am a school teacher and I'm taking on a position that's sure to be challenging, and I'm very nervous. I suffer from anxiety disorder and I would like your prayers to help me stay calm so that I can do a good job for these kids.

Please don't look at being dumped as some "fault" that you have.

Move on...and find someone who Believes in God & His Son Jesus. Perhaps they have someone MUCH better in the future for you.

Trust the Father...and His Son...FULLY.

I tried talking again with my husband, and it is falling on deaf ears. There is nothing else I can do but just be there for him. He has chosen his path, with the addiction to pills, booze,his smoking, and his poor diet. I have tried so hard over the years to get him to seek help, to no avail.

When he is sober, he is an absolutely delightful person to be with. He has raised my children, and has been an excellent father to them, overall. We have been together for 19 years, and married for 17 years.

He changed a lot when he got seriously hurt at work, and left permanently disabled 11 years ago. His whole outlook on life soured. He went from a healthy young man to a bitter man. He seemed to sorta level out a bit, when he was offered a sit down security guard job at his workplace, when his disabilities prevented him from ever working as an electrician again. But when the workplace folded 6 1/2 years ago, he just went to pieces mentally and physically.He went on disability, as emphysema kicked in on top of everything else. Everything started going downhill as he tried to drown his private hell with pills washed down with beer. The verbal abuse towards me started, and even had a couple of minor physical confrontations. There was nothing I could do to try to ease things for him. Even my deep love for him didn't work.

So now I am in the middle of a waiting game. What else is going to turn up next in his growing list of illnesses? With the aneurysm, I have a absolute horrible fear of just finding him dead. If that thing blows, he will be dead in a minute. Even though we have a hospital less than a mile away, he would not make it there.

Sorry for my rant.

When I saw 40,000 homes destroyed in Texas so far and now the Calif fires , it came to me God is trying to tell us our earthly homes do not matter

I mentioned that I plan on evacuating if it seems necessary with Irma. So many coworkers said they can't, they have homes. I do to, but my concern is for me and my animals.

You have to do what is right in keeping your family, furred and human, safe !

I need a prayer. I'm struggling with the VA. I really need a prayer for victory with The Lord's help. Thank you so much.

Dear Lebya, I will pray for you and whatever the VA is attempting now. May you get the proper care, appointments, meds, etc on time and without having to go back and forth with them. May you feel better soon and not have to worry about this struggle.

To all: I usually say a Prayer for thread daily. Don't know if it helps but I include our group.

I now ask prayer (Please) for my family in Florida. If anyone can please just ask that they will be OK with whatever Irma may bring if she visits their areas. Some went through a very rough time with Wilma (10/05. All are much older and so much has changed with them since. Thank you. Take care all.

I have a lot of family in Florida, both on the Atlantic side and on the Gulf.I have 2 brothers down there, and numerous nieces, nephews, and several cousins.

Prayers said for all in the path of Hurricane Irma.

I'm just inland of Daytona. I'm also praying for those in the path, where ever that might end up being.

I have family in Gainesville, Saint Augustine,Fort Lauderdale, Tampa area,Valrico, and in the southwestern part on the coast.
