Leviticus 11: 45For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

Today this was my chapter and I saw Peter all over it. In Montana a family of wolves killed a cow to eat , not far from where we lived. I love cows and I love wolves, so when they killed the entire family of wolves , including the pups for eating a cow, my heart broke. God showed me harmony no longer exist. In Leviticus 11 , that list was a list of obedience to try and make the people Holy. With Peter in Acts 10, he was proud he had obeyed Leviticus 11. God shows us in both of these, it is all about listening to God's instructions. I was convicted to never eat a cow again after that. Giving up my first Hamburger was not easy. The story of Peter shows us, I may be called to not eat beef , but you may be called to not eat something else. The One thing we are all called to eat is His word and be obedient to God and not the world. Everything is about the Heart...

Cookie Cutter Houses, Cars and Cookie Cutter Religion

I have always loved houses and cars that looked unique. I once wanted a 1948 Lincoln till I tried to steer it. The 1893 house we remolded was unique. The Bible is unique . God from page 1 to the last page did not create cookie cutter people. Every chapter in the Bible has a different character and story from the beginning to end.

Noah , did not do or act like Moses, except hearing and obeying God . Jonah did not act or look like Gideon , but in the end they both obeyed God. I can not watch many television shows anymore. I do enjoy the ones where they find people homes or remodel old ones.

I see a trend where everyone wants that open concept kitchen . I grew up in a time I could see a vehicle going down the road and know the make and model was , they where unique.
We have made everything cookie cutter , even religion. God did not call us all to be the same. John the Baptist , who warned of wrath to come , was not the same as Paul. We are to follow and obey God the Father , Jesus our Savior and the Holy Spirit, not man , that is to never be strayed from.

In Montana God allowed me to see church much different than I was raised in the south. The fastest growing church was one man that did not go to seminary. He was called by God for a certain group to reach and preached in Movie Theaters. The younger generations flocked to this young Preacher so much he had to acquire many more Theaters.

God allowed me to come back to Texas and be under a small country church , much like the one when I was 7 and my mom had the car crash . The church is led by a man called by God , but did not attend seminary and the walls have had to be pushed out. The cookie cutter houses do not hold up like that 1893 home. The cookie cutter cars do not hold up like the older cars. There is a message in this for our walks with God.

The characters in the Bible did not look the same or have the same call . The only thing that is cookie cutter in the Bible is to follow God teach every word of God . We do not look the same, only God is the same . If we start looking and acting the same then we are no longer unique. Be who God called you to be and it will look nothing like the world, it will be different …

I once was in a denomination that several pastors came from the same seminary , they walked and talked the same. Certain movements to keep the crowd awake. If God calls , trains and teaches, I promise we will not fall asleep... Noah to Paul is very important . He called Noah to build an Ark , He called Paul to preach and teach the Gentiles to enter that same Ark.

I only have to sit a day in a Kindergarten class of 20 to see God does not create cookie cutter, man does... Jonah seems to be my go to place this month . Jonah had one message Jonah 3:4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. What the people did afterwards was turn to God. If God calls like He did with Jonah it may be one sentence , one message and God does the rest. We have lost Who and Why...

The Bible has one recurring theme , the people lose their way and He sends whom ever He chooses to lead them back . It will never look cookie cutter or like the world. The life examples given from page 1 to the last shows us that. In fact those examples are just unnatural , Gideon is just one of all of them. We would have never hung Jesus on a Cross, would we?

Father, L, who is sister spouses direct boss, is acting as a hypocrite, yet claiming You, Lord she needs deliverance and healing, amen

Lord another typhoon is forming and heading our way, in YAHshua/Jesus name we command it to become a rain depression, tropical storm at worst, and that the source of what appears to be curses, both against China and the USA are revealed for prayer , and deliverance, amen

Husband update:

We went to the other doctor today for the results of the abdominal cat scan. The only thing it showed different from the other scan is that my husband also has a spot on his kidney. This doctor said that spots on a kidney or liver sometimes indicate lung cancer. This doctor is doing the same as the other one, no recheck or anything for 6 months.He did suggest that my husband might want to see a cardiologist for the aneurysm.
My husband needs to get another opinion. He needs to go to a different doctor.
So, to sum it up, my husbands emphysema is severe, he has spots on his liver and kidney,he has diverticulitis,he has Barretts,and he has an 4.1 aneurysm on the main artery to his heart, and the doctors will not do squat.:(

Contact your health insurance agency and ask them to provide you with a list of oncologists in your area that are covered by your insurance. Once they provide this list, contact all of the oncologists to schedule an appointment. Find out if a referral from his PCP is required. Either way, contact his PCP and all other specialists he has seen recently and get copies of his recent visit summaries and test/scan results for your records to bring to the oncologist.

You can skip calling your insurance agency by calling his PCP and requesting that they refer and schedule him to see an oncologist. Or at least a lung specialist, but I don't think it would be a bad idea to push for an oncologist.

If this spot could possibly indicate lung cancer, he needs to be seen by an oncologist so that the proper tests/scans can be done to rule out lung cancer.

Unfortunately we have to be our own voice with these doctors. We are nothing more than a patient number to them.

OK as a woman Leviticus 12 is just no fun to think about. I had to stop and ask God what we as women today need to see in that chapter, then I read again. It is clear those women when they where finished with all they had to do, knew where that baby came from and Who it belonged to. I thank Jesus I do not have to kill a lamb or bird to show I understand , Who I belong to. If we had kept those commands in that chapter in our hearts , I wonder if we would be nation that allows abortion? I fear we have forgot Who that seed comes from and Who it belongs to...Who creates life...

We can look at this story and all those around the world to see God is saying this is not our home...it never was

Roy has medicare. A lot of doctors will not take medicare because the payments are low. A friend suggested the University of Chicago Hospital. I think this is a good choice, but it is up to my husband.
At the least, he does need to see a cardiologist for the aneurysm. I am going to look around our area and find a cardiologist who is good, and takes medicare.Right now, my husband is fearful about going to a cardiologist, because of the quack cardiologist my mother saw, that put in a pacemaker she didn't need, and ruined her quality of life. FTR, my mother is part of a class action lawsuit against the quack cardiologist, along with hundreds of other former patients.
Roy needs prayers to give him courage to seek help, instead of giving up, or being complacent.
