Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

You ask the right person as this was my greatest struggles. When I lost my business and caring for a disabled husband I worried so much I got a bad ulcer.
I had to keep Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth, on my desk.

I searched for work at at retirement age those and doors where not opening.
I ask God everyday open the door You want and close the one You do not.

I had to come to place that I got on my knees and said out loud , if You want me homeless or to lose everything then I will accept, other wise provide for my daily needs.

What I found was I had to take action and only focus on what the day had in store. I took one trial at a time , ask Him each time to face it with me.

This life is hard and to trust in God when we live in this world is easy to say but hard to really do. Once we do just one time the next is easier. The trick is to take each worry and think of the worst possible outcome and face it in your mind , then tackle after prayer to the One that is really in control.

I do not know your calling for what you are facing , but do not think past today, tackle what this day gives and ask God to help you really hand over to Him and leave with Him.



When we think we have the answers or can do anything without Him, He will let us. Your personal relationship with Him is what helps you know , what is of Him and what is not.

I hope this helps , I do not have the answers He does though and He does a much better job than we do...

I am reading the bible daily and as I read , I ask to see God , Jesus and the Holy Spirit in each chapter.
Numbers 10 , we see clouds and trumpets are the main theme. The whole time I read it, it reminded me of a day we long for or should. Matthew 24 :30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
They had this in Numbers 10 and we will have it again when God says “GO.”Come Lord Jesus Come...

God's Training Camp
To be a follower of Jesus is not as easy as the world has made it. If it was Jesus would have not used terms like narrow road or few. He would have said it is easy and the road is wide, but He did not.
Each generation was to have the 12 , Paul and the others with Paul. A group of people , men and women that did as they did , taught as they taught with only the Word of God.

I am in Numbers in the morning reading time , that training camp was not easy . In the latter part of the Bible I am in 1 Corinthians. Paul is teaching how to judge , who to judge and what to judge. It is complicated somewhat, if not taught as Paul taught. We are called to know the word of God so well we will be able to judge Angels. 1 Corinthians 6:3 (NKJV)
Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?
That verse can lead us off on a rabbit trail, but the main thing is know and understand every word of God,2 Timothy 3:16.

We see in Chapter 1 of this book food is off the list as God showed Peter as well. We know in the beginning of training camp for God's people, there where many rules about food. Paul goes on in that book to explain the rules for judging inside the new training camp.
1 Corinthians6: 2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

We as followers are to not judge those outside the camp, that is God's job, ours is to being them into the training camp.

1Corinthians 5:12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” We are to have no part with those inside God's camp that do evil.

Once we come inside God's training camp, there are rules and we are to know those rules. I love how God teaches if we allow Him . I have been studying 1 Corinthians for several weeks over and over and today in Numbers 11 , as I peeked ahead for tomorrow , it said this ,
1Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused.

So the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp. 2 Then the people cried out to Moses, and when Moses prayed to the Lord, the fire was quenched. 3 So he called the name of the place Taberah,because the fire of the Lord had burned among them.

They had Moses , we have Jesus and training camp never ended, God gave us His Son Jesus , The Holy Spirit and the Bible to train everyday...I thank God for that and that we are not consumed by God's fire of anger as in that passage. To see God , Jesus and the Holy Spirit from beginning to end of the Word of God , is what we where to always do, training camp ends when He takes us home...God called and calls those to train and not stray from the training manual, there is Only One and He was in the beginning,1 John 1...

...They went outside of camp in Numbers , they went outside camp in Corinth and we certainly have went outside, we only have to admit it, find our Peters, Pauls and Priscillas and get back in God's traning camp...

This is the way, I, as a person whom was just baptized on June 12th - views these "rules" -

Before Christ: We would offer ritual sacrifices, blood, to appease God. To atone for our behavior. To ask for blessings, receive prayers, if we messed up, if we did good. Jesus came, and was God in the Flesh, yet was his son also (I'm a bit confused on this issue but I don't want to get hung up or start a debate) - Anyhow, so he is The Son of God, Son of Man - He comes to earth and does miracles and preaches heavenly knowledge in a way we humans can understand.

When he was crucified, and his sides opened with the spear, his blood was the "ultimate blood" and he died so he was the "ultimate sacrifice" thus making anymore ritual sacrifices obsolete. Why do we need to slaughter these animals to appease God when God himself sacrificed his Son for our sins -

“Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?"

“What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

That's straight from the 'horses mouth' red letters Jesus spoke to man and we ended these dietary laws and many, if not all, of the "man made laws" that I personally find very freeing in Jesus.

Man Made Laws are... Man made. Imperfect. So with Jesus blood, we are washed clean, and no longer do we need offer an animals blood to appease God.

Man Made Laws for Food: We no longer need to follow these man made laws because “For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer” (1 Timothy 4:4).

It's not what we EAT or put on our HEADS or WEAR or how many lambs we sacrifice - it is what is WITHIN US - our hidden thoughts. Our deep desires. Yes, I can talk on GLP with my Christian friends about Christ, proclaim to love my wife, spend hours a week with my Pastor Sean and his marriage ministry - yet, home alone, if I open up the computer and go to internet porn - these are wicked thoughts, behavior - and that is what defiles me! Because it is only ME and GOD knowing... Does that make sense?

I think it does.

Yep...I can be strange!

Think about this for a few moments.

What does worry / anxiety accomplish?

NOTHING! It's wasted time / energy / emotion!

And how many times do folks get an answer when they ask God or Jesus..."WHY and I going through this???"

After that, take a look back over your life and examine the times when you were going through something difficult. Take each one, then imagine how EACH could have been even 10 times WORSE than they were.

And didn't the Father or His Son come through for your EACH and EVERY time???



Therefore, when you come to a NEW trial, remember to THANK the Son and His Father for ALL the times they had helped you in the past, AND....CLEARLY state that you TRUST and will CONTINUE to Trust them to see you through this new one!

I thank our Lord everyday I do not have to kill anything to be forgiven , except die to self and allow Jesus to take over every day I wake , I mess up. I just done want to live in the same thing over and over I mess up in...

We all mess up to some degree, every day of our lives. All we can do is to trust in God, who knows we are just human, and failed human beings at that.He knows what is in our hearts.

There is so much in Numbers 11 I do not even know where to start. We see no matter what God gives us we want more . We see Moses had a funny side to his troubles with the people asking God this,
12 Did I conceive all these people? Did I beget them, that You should say to me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a guardian carries a nursing child,’ to the land which You swore to their fathers? nkjv.

We can not imagine what he went through in a day but it was so terrible Moses just wanted to die.
We see the Holy Spirit being shared with those chosen and God did something different with 2 of them. We see God giving the people what they wanted but in a way that is scary to think about.
20 but for a whole month, until it comes out of your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you, because you have despised the Lord who is among you, and have wept before Him, saying, “Why did we ever come up out of Egypt?”’

I will think more about my complaining and work harder at my thankfulness that is for sure.
I actually laughed out loud at this whole conversation and what it must have sounded like , Moses questioned where this meat will come from and God has a smart reply ,
23 And the Lord said to Moses, “Has the Lord’s arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not.”
You can see why God loved Moses and Moses loved God...
We can learn from this chapter in many ways but the greatest is to love what God provides and the longings of this world and what it offers did not take those people to the promise land ...1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
