I just had one of those awe moments. I was walking and looking up at the moon because it is so big and pretty and a meteor flashed right in front of it. In an instant the thought came ," I am here and I know ." I had a heavy heart last night about the world last night, like those children in Brazil yesterday . I know it sounds funny but I found peace in that flash...

Numbers 12 is a scary reminder of the things we do not want to be , verse 2 And they said, Hath the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it.

We are seeing more training camp and we forget God hears things said in secret .
Verse 3 Now the man Moses was very meek(humble), more than all men who were on the face of the earth.
God loves humble we know that , Luke 14:11
For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

When I was young I went several times to the Principals office, it is not fun , Miriam and Aaron where sent the real Principals office. Verse 4 Suddenly the Lord said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, “Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!”

We strive to be humble as Moses. We live in a world the words pride and proud are ingrained in us from youth to adult. From school, sports to our jobs , but that is a tool of satan and we can see how much God hates it in this chapter.
The definitions of humble or meek is to be of of low social, or political rank or administrative , the opposite of all the world says. We need Numbers 12 close by every time we start placing ourselves above others , there is a reason God chooses the humble , like He did with Moses , other wise we become Miriam...

It's okay to engage in this - and Men, also, I suppose... so heck, anybody:

We all know I'm "new to Christ" yes? We've established my wife is very (if you had to label it.. Pentecostal-ish - yet don't ever say that :) ) So worship music, by my mentor Pastor Sean, said we should just listen to worship music all the time to keep us focused on the Holy Spirit.

Somehow this turned into a fight lol.

Apparently, all I like is the "bubble gum garbage people with no revelation like" and I find her choice in music "this is majorly depressing and sounds sad."

So this is a flesh battle yet the spirit needs to step in,

Do you have any suggestions on worhsip music that is both "upbeat, positive, etc " Kinda like the

Yet still is - apparently, the "hipster underground" of Christian Music? (Cheap jab at my wife... ugh, flesh battle)

(The Bethel Movement / House of Prayer seems to be... what I see a lot in her choices of sermons and I see that logo alot)

Hope this makes sense. Christian Music that is still upbeat, sounds "modern" yet still would appeal to someone who says "worship music should help us move heaven and earth" while I Just want to clap my hands and sing..

My cat has been vomiting and won't eat.

He stopped vomiting for a few hours now but still has no appetite. Keeping an eye on him. Money is tight and i cant really afford a vet right now.

Please Pray that whatever this is, passes and he gets through it alright.

I myself prefer traditional worship music. I think you need to discern what is best for you. What type of worship music makes your soul leap for joy in the Lord? THAT music is the one for you, IMO.

Numbers 13 is a reminder of what kind of people we can be. God knew what was in land of Canaan, He did not need spies. He needed the people to see Who He was . These people saw things we can not imagine and yet they still did not know or trust God. We still face giants , God knows what we face today and past today , the question is do we know and trust Who we say we love ?

We will always be as grasshoppers in this world if we face it not knowing or trusting in God. Who and what are our giants and are we thinking and going at this world as they did? They had God and Moses , we have God the Father , Jesus our Savior and the Holy Spirit...Dear Heavenly Father help us face today not in our strength but Yours , help us let You take down our giants , in Jesus name amen
