Quoting: tiger1 I have had my hands full over here, but I hate to complain, when so many of you are going through so much. My husband has been having terrible chest pains off and on. The night before last, he woke me by squeezing my foot,as he couldn't talk because his chest was so tight. He was stumbling all over the bedroom. I wanted to call an ambulance, but he refused. This is not the first time this has happened, but this episode was the longest, at a bit over 10 minutes.I told the girls since he refuses to let me call an ambulance, that all I can do is wait until he blacks out, and then call the ambulance. The pump on our boiler for our radiator heat really was on it's last legs, so we got it replaced last Friday. But, we have no heat at all on our 2nd floor where the full bath and the girls bedrooms are at. I do not know if the new pump is not strong enough, and my husband did bleed the radiators to let the air pockets out. We called a different company to look at our system, as it is cold up here on my 2nd floor, and my fingers are a bit stiff typing on this computer right now.The girls have been utilizing extra blankets. My daughter Elizabeth's furnace will not work. She has no heat at all for her and the 3 little ones. My husband and I went over there yesterday, and he tried everything but the pilot will not stay lit.My husband thinks it might be the thermocoupler. He will go back over to her house later, and try to get it running once more.He night remove the thermocoupler and put in a new one if he can find one at the store, as her furnace is very old, and see if it works. She has no income coming in at all, as she quit her job, and she gets no child support from her ex, who has not worked in a couple of years. So far, no more labor pains, but she is sick and weak. If any of you listened to my radio show yesterday evening, you know that I am fighting the referendum for our school system. There is a very large target on my back. I can really feel it. I need the armor of God right now. Dear Heavenly Father , We lift up Tiger and family we ask You keep her strong and provide all the things needed like heat and money , we ask You be with her husband and the chest pains stop bring peace and calm waters in this home this very day in Jesus name amen |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 71433356 United States 10/17/2017 05:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is one of the best prayers in the world Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75709486 It is difficult to improve oneself, and sometimes you find the results are not equal to the efforts you have made. But are you really using the methods I give you? There are many, but today I will just remind you of one. Talk to heaven, and say, ‘Now I understand; there is nothing I can do about my lower nature. It is stubborn, tough; I’ll never manage to change it. Yes, after all those wasted years, at last, heavenly spirits, I understand that I will get nowhere with it; it is not very bright; it is blind and malevolent. So, send me the purest, most perfect entities to take its place. Let these dwell in me, guide me, teach me and take over my whole life, so that I may succeed in realizing your plans, even in spite of myself.’ This is one of the best prayers in the world, and if you say it sincerely every day you cannot fail to experience good results. A true spiritualist dedicates his life to heaven saying, 'From now on I will work for the kingdom of God. I will abandon all these futile occupations, all these passing pleasures that bring me nothing.' By doing this, he releases within himself spiritual energies that were paralyzed and enslaved by ordinary, everyday habits, and he can at last bear fruit. Look at a tree: when it is invaded by insects and caterpillars, it cannot bear fruit, and we must rid it of its parasites with insecticides. In the same way, someone who gives in to laziness and the basest pleasures attracts parasites, dark entities of the astral world that come to nourish themselves through him. They invade his body, will, heart and intellect, they suck up the sap that should nourish his higher self. Yes, this is true: human beings shelter within themselves other beings that drain them of all their energy. To get rid of these parasites, they must dedicate their whole being, all their activities to heaven, and it is then that they will bear only succulent fruits. |
tiger1 User ID: 19262565 United States 10/17/2017 06:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | UPDATE: Well, my heat is working once again on both floors. Husband fortified himself with beer, talked to another furnace guy, and finally got it going all the way, but not before we had another disaster. Turns out the guy who put the pump in didn't do it the right way to get the pressure tank working. This is why the water would not go up to the 2nd floor. So, my husband used his brothers compressor after draining the entire system again, to pressurize the tank.He then turned the water back on. Well, a few minutes later, we had Niagra Falls in my basement. Water was pouring down from the finished ceiling, all over my washing machine, us, and everything else. We both ran to the second floor from the basement, as we suspected a pipe may have burst when he pressurized the system. The second floor was dry. We went down to the first floor, couldn't see anything right away, but I heard water gushing.I looked in the bedroom. My bedroom was full of water. Water was shooting out of the radiator valve that my @$$ of a husband forgot to close. There was a couple of inches of water covering my hardwood floors. All my throw rugs and everything by the gushing radiator was soaking wet, including my husbands clean laundry that he piled on the floor next to the wall by the radiator, instead of putting them away in his chest of drawers.Lazy Polak !!! GRRRR. So, my soaking wet throw rugs have to be washed and dried, but the heck with his clothes.I hope my washer still works. I will find out after it dries out, and plug it back in tomorrow. I soaked up the water, and the hardwood floors look dry, but now I got to worry if they will start to warp because of the water.GRRRR. So, me who doesn't touch alcohol, grabbed a 20 year old bottle of Kahlua, mixed some of it with milk and slugged it down. Husband pressed his luck again, as he said to me as I had the ONE AND ONLY drink "It's about time you had a drink". GRRRRR. The new furnace guy who was supposed to come to our house tomorrow, will be going to my daughter's house instead, to try to get her heat working. I will update you on my daughters furnace situation.I sure hope it is fixable and cheap. As for my washing machine, if my husband ruined it, he had better replace it quick !!! GRRR Prayers needed for all of us. Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |

I have had a recurring dream this month where we are running to a shelter and there is little time or warning. Who knows but , we have One Shelter that no matter what happens He has a place of Shelter for us. The Promise was made long ago...In my dream I only made it to the first step before whatever happened , happened , that part was not clear but this is... I have a leaking pipe down in the basement that is connected to the boiler. It is trickling out at a good pace with a stream of water going across the floor to the sewer drain. My husband said he had to move it out of his way when he was working on the boiler, so now I have a constant trickle of water. He "fixed" the upstairs toilet 2 weeks ago. It was running off and on. Now it runs constantly. The repairman is supposed to come to my daughters house at 11am central time. I certainly hope her luck has been better than mine has been. I am so frustrated. To top it off, my husband's memory seems to be sliding downhill, and he is constantly talking every minute he is awake. He even follows me around the house, talking and talking.Whatever I am doing, he expects me to drop everything and listen to him. It is all repeats of what he says. But if he is doing anything, like playing Wii or watching TV, no one is allowed to make one decibel of noise, let alone interrupt him for any reason. I am still cleaning up from the "flood" this morning. Thank God my washer is working. I am washing and drying all the throw rugs from the flooded bedroom.I was vacuuming in the bedroom this morning before I start putting the rugs back down.I had to stop and listen to him. I can't do anything without being expected to stop immediately so he can repeat and repeat his ramblings. He asked me a few minutes ago, if he went to the bank and wrote a check yesterday. I told him I do not know what he did. So now he is angry with me.It is his checking account, my name is not on it, and I honestly do not know. His dementia is worsening. My frustration level is at an all-time high. I used to matron in a school and one night, one of the boys stood on a pipe and snapped the bit that went to the tap. Water spurting out everywhere. caretakers all gone home. In absolute desperation I stuck a large plaster over the hole and bandaged it tightly. Sure it dripped a lot, but I put a basin under it and it dripped into that until morning when a caretaker came on duty. he was totally gobsmacked at what I had done, but it certainly helped the situation. Something similar for you maybe? I hope something works anyway. Love and hugs from across the pond. What choice do I have but to be myself? Everyone else was already taken. You read this and see why we need Jesus even more. The two things that God hates the most, the Israelis just fell in head long . We can read this and question how on earth did they continually go against God. We only have to read the news around the world and see we are no different. This chapter is very violent and I can not imagine what it must have looked like, 4Then the Lord said to Moses, “Take all the leaders of the people and hang the offenders before the Lord, out in the sun, that the fierce anger of the Lord may turn away from Israel.” Luke 1: 50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. We have lost our fear of God because we have made Him what we want and do not understand His love vs our love. His Love can be seen in this chapter by not wiping out the whole place because of one man. 10Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 11“Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned back My wrath from the children of Israel, because he was zealous with My zeal among them, so that I did not consume the children of Israel in My zeal. Twenty-four thousand died during this but because of Phinehas and his love for God not everyone died. Jesus on the Cross did many things one is we no longer have to do something like verse 4. The price paid on the Cross can be seen in this chapter. Hebrews 9:14 KJV) How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? What was done on the Cross did not mean we get a free pass to do whatever we want, it means God looks upon It as he did the heads in verse 4 and does not wipe us out for our disobedience and does not wipe us out when we fall in the ways of Baal. Thank You Lord for John 3:16... |

Dearest Tiger, my offer of a weekend refuge still stands. We would be happy to pick you up and give you a weekend's respite and comfort. I'm very worried about your own health and well-being. Your husband has set his own path in life which is causing misery in your own. I will continue to pray for you as you have many people in your life who draw energy from you without offering replacement. Trust in God as you do and He will help get you through this crisis. I'm so sorry this is happening to you. With my love and respect. |
