Numbers 27 we see the daughters of Zelophehad come to Moses and ask for their inheritance as there where no sons in this family and God says in verse 7 The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.
The first thought that came was this Matthew 15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

The household of Zelophehad was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the Lord in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.
God leaves no one out in this chapter that is in the company of the Lord...Then The Lord calls Joshua to take over and had Moses lay hands on him.

23And he laid his hands upon him, and gave him a charge, as the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses.
God does the choosing always has...He amazes me how He even used Balaam to reap the final harvest of those that will enter the Promise Land. satan is busy everyday as he was then , know the enemy and remember Who to follow and where it leads...The world is full of Balaams that appear as a good thing to follow.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
We long for the Promise Land to Come ...
